July's theme is a "Beach Read". Meaning, it typically takes place during the summer, but that’s not a requirement. It just has to have a summer feel. Finally, reading overall is a little bit lighter. It’s good writing, don’t get me wrong, but you aren’t going to have to sit there trying to decode everything for hours. You could read one of these books cover to cover in one afternoon at the pool. Which book would you like to read?

Thank you for accepting my friend request! I absolutely adore your Pivot Point series and The Distance Between Us. Your stories and characters are just so darn cute and sweet (especially Trevor.. and Connor.. and well, all of them, really). I recently bought On the Fence, and I can't wait to read that and all your other books. You rule! :)
So please excuse the fangirling that is about to take place. I LOVE YOUR BOOKS!!!! I just finished Split Second and it was wonderful. I loved the continuation of Addison and Trevor's story and Laini and Connor's story was fantastic. I know that this series is only supposed to have two books but I'm really hoping you will change your mind and write another (or several) more in this world. I loved it so much!!!
Dear Kasie,
Thank you so much for accepting my friend request :)
I am very much looking forward to reading and discovering more of your work.
Very best wishes for more books in the future,
Genie

Thank you so much. I really appreciate you taking the time to let me know. It means a lot to me. Especially because I'm drafting right now and feeling a little blah about it. :) So I'm glad to know that people actually like some of my finished products. Ha.

After finishing reading The Distance Between Us yesterday, I was left with an overwhelming urge to let you know how much I love and appreciate your books; both The Distance Between Us, and Pivot Point, which I devoured in two days.
Especially in a time where Young Adult and New Adult novels have quickly become a dime in a dozen it is so refreshing to stumble across books that are original, witty, funny, and still hold that special touch of magic.
There has been an upsurge of YA and NA novels with extremely unhealthy portrayals of relationships (I won't elaborate on that, because I don't want to disregard any books or their respective authors in any way) and it has been a true pleasure to find that it is still possible to find novels with genuine, harmonious relationships. I'm so picky with relationship development aswell, and I abhor both "insta-love", as well as romances that are overly corny, but you really managed to beautifully capture the essence of YA relationships - both that fragile state of slowly falling in love, and the slight uncertitude in the beginning of a relationship - and I really, really loved that.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. I can't wait for your second installment of Pivot Point, and On the Fence.

Thanks for accepting! I loved Pivot Point and The Distance Between Us, and the wait for Split Second and On The Fence will surely kill me. (thanks for that!)

Just finished reading The Distance Between Us. Got no sleep last night. Drank some hot chocolate. And FREAKING LOVED IT! <33333 Thank you so much for writing exactly the kind of fun, adorable, and snarky contemporary book I needed this summer!!!
So you should know that I'm even more of a fan girl of you than I was before. Yeah. Cool (':
