So I have this thing for heights right, how tall are you?
I’ve been trying to figure out how tall the Undertale characters are and I think i got it!
The average Door is about 7ft right so using that I came up with this chart. These are averages mind you not exact.
From Tallest to shortest
Asgore: 9′ 8
Toriel: 8′ 3
Undyne: 7′ 5 or 8′ 7 with hair XD
Mettaton: 8′ 3 wowie those heels!
Papyrus: 6′ 8
Napstablook: 5′ 2
Alphys: 4′ 9
Sans: 4′ 8
Frisk:4′ 7
Temmie: 4
Monster Kid: 3′ 9
Honestly they sound about right, Asgore is HUGE and Frisk is about the right size for a 7-10 year old depending on weather they are on the short or tall side (compared to my 7yr old)
SO in conclusion if I were to hug Sans we could be breast friends XD (6ft here)
Until you look at this. Asgore appears to be aproximately twice the size of a fully grown human adult, when you account for his horns. And that’s assuming all the humans here aren’t, for some reason, children.
The average, as I’m to understand, is about 5′6″. And considering Frisk’s overworld sprite height is aprox ½ of Asgore’s height, and they bear a little similarity to that warrior standing in the front of the human crowd in the war image. (Symbolicism)
I’m going to say Frisk is probably about 5′6″ tall.
Which means Sans is about 5′6″ as well.
I dunno, dude. When you factor in things like this illustration of the Monster-Human war, it completely skews your chart a bit.
Yeah there’s A LOT of things that completely screw my chart XD
It doesn’t help that the game is really inconsistent with the sprites going from walking around mode to fight mode.
This shot even shows that Undyne is taller then Asgore and Tori (as another reblog pointed out)
And the screen shot at the start of the game, we’re not 100% sure that is actually Asgore or some ancestor. I’m 50/50 on that one myself.
The chart was more for my own reference then anything, I didn’t expect it to take off like this, it’s almost at 1000 notes, Jeebus!
