Citation atau sitasi adalah penggunaan referensi di teks atau naskah tulisan ilmiah

Penulisan sitasi tergantung dari standard (style) penulisan referensi yang digunakan

Usahakan sitasi dan referensi penelitian hanya diambil dari journal ilmiah yang
terindeks oleh SCOPUS atau ISI

Pengambilan sitasi dari literature yang tidak berkualitas akan mempengaruhi kualitas
penelitian kita

Bagi para peneliti, sumber/referensi tulisan yang baik berasal dari paper-paper yang dipublikasikan pada jurnal yang baik pula. Saat ini terdapat 2 peng-
index jurnal di dunia ini yang terkenal dan disegani, yaitu ISI Thomson Reuters dan Scopus. ISI Thomson Reuters mengeluarkan JIF (Journal Impact
Factor) sedangkan Scopus mengeluarkan SJR (Scimago Journal Rank). Namun, saat ini praktisnya, kita dapat menggunakan Scopus. Karena Scopus
memberikan layanan pengecekan jurnal secara web dan gratis.

 Hasilnya, ternyata ada, itu artinya jurnal “International
Journal of Applied Pharmaceutics” ter-index Scopus. Jika
tidak ada, berarti tidak ter-index Scopus. Kemudian kita
juga bisa melihat detil informasi dari jurnal yang
bersangkutan.

IJAP berada di Q1.

Scopus dalam menilai jurnal membuat klusterisasi kualitas

jurnal dengan istilah Quartile, dengan 4 Quartile, yaitu Q1,
Q2, Q3 dan Q4. Dimana Q1 adalah kluster paling tinggi
atau paling utama dari sisi kulitas jurnal dikuti Q2, Q3 dan
Q4 dibawahnya.
