Crayola True Blue Heroes Crayons: What's Inside the Box

I have been wanting to get my hand on a True Blue crayon for a while now.  The True Blue Heroes Crayola Crayons came out in 1997.  It was a national contest for kids to nominate a Hero in their lives, write an essay, and color a picture about them.  The colors to name appeared in the 64, 96, and 120 crayon boxes.  The box I have here are the ultimate winners for the contest. There was also a wooden box that contained the true blue color. I have pictures of all the artwork and essays at the bottom of the post in the booklet section.

Crayola Bathtub Crayons and Markers: What's Inside the Box

I love the Crayola bathtub crayons.  They are really easy to use, and come off easy too.  I usually use window cleaner to get most crayons off surfaces and these come off very easy with window cleaner and water for that matter. This is the first year 2016 that I have seen the bathtub markers.  The markers have a different tip than most markers, it is cloth-like.  I can not wait to use them with my kids.

The only thing I do not love about these crayons is the packaging.  Crayola uses this packaging design for many items, but it is hard for collectors to store them or look at them without opening the packaging.  They have a new box design, a circular plastic case with a close-able lid. It is interesting to note that Crayola does not actually make these crayons, they are made by Pop Rocket. Play Vision has been making recent bathtub crayons There is not a lot of information on the given website about the crayons, but they are the ones listed on the back of the box. They also do not have a style or code number because an outside supplier manufactured them.
