Ipse fuit Summus Civitatum Foederatarum Iudex a 4 Februarii 1801 ad mortem. In Camera Repraesentativorum interfuit a 4 Martii 1799 ad 7 Iunii 1800, et, Ioanne Adams praeside, fuit Secretarius Civitatis a 6 Iunii 1800 ad 4 Martii 1801. Fuit cives Reipublicae Virginiae et dux Factionis Foederalistae.
