Modri is a Slovenian Age of Empires II player who is currently playing for The Amigos. He is known for his Arena and Black Forest skills.
Biography[edit]
Modri has known moderate success in Arena-only and closed map 1v1 tournaments, with a 2-3 quarterfinal loss to the eventual winner Yo in Wallhalla and semifinal losses to slam in Masters of Arena 6 and Running in Master of the Circus 2. Modri is also an expert Black Forest player. He has competed in all three editions of Rage Forest, and has won two - Drunken Forest and Rage Forest. Due to the snake draft nature of the tournaments, his teams have been different for both wins, except for FreakinAndy. In Rage Forest 3, his team stranded in the quarterfinals after losing to Valas' team 2-3.
In 2021, a group of expert players including Modri, originating from the Rage Forest community, started competing in team game tournaments as The Amigos. They have beaten GamerLegion and Aftermath in Black Forest showmatches, and Modri played for the team in both their quarterfinal finishes in Return of the Clans - playing all games - and Battle of Africa 3 - playing the closed maps.
Modri has taken on a host of pro players and Arena experts in a series of showmatches. Barring a loss to TheViper, he beat DauT, Liereyy, Hera, Yo, Running and Babaorum over a span of two years in these Arena-only showmatches.
After Masters of Arena 7, Modri announced his intent to retire from competitive Age of Empires.
