Alrena is a citizen of East Ardougne, the wife of Edmond, and the mother of Elena. She lives north of the Flying Horse Inn.

She plays a part in the Plague City quest, helping the player attempt to locate Elena, and offering the player the gas mask if they bring her dwellberries. If the player has lost the gas mask, it can be retrieved in the cupboard.

Trivia

• Alrena is one of the few non-player characters that can be seen doing the pestle and mortar animation.
• Models for a graphically updated Alrena were added to the game files with the release of Song of the Elves, but they are unused. Her graphical update would have made her resemble Elena's, who received a graphical update on the same day. Although Elena's chathead model was subsequently updated again, the unused Alrena chathead model has remained unchanged.
