Chinmaya Tej is an annual Walkathon event organized by Chinmaya Mission Alpharetta. CORD (Chinmaya Organization for Rural Development) &amp; United Way of Forsyth will benefit from this fund raising event.
CORD is secular, non profit that aims to help communities create sustainable programs to aid in their holistic welfare.&nbsp; CORD's programs in rural development cater to empowering and making communities self-reliant. The uniqueness of the model rests on making the rural communities equal partner in their development, rather than just facilitating developmental projects.&nbsp;

The Sugar Hill Choir of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints presents a heartwarming, two-day concert on May 17 and 18 that features nearly 70 musicians celebrating music and the community. Themed Safely Gathered Home, the evening will be filled with soul-stirring harmonies and uplifting melodies reflecting the love and peace that can be found not only at our earthly home but also at our heavenly home.
