An infernal dice (d12) is a reward given by Mephisto for freeing him from a binding spell (top section, northern ring). When rolled, the message "The dice rolls around in an otherworldly fashion and then dissolves into nothing." appears and the world shakes. Afterwards, the player is notified that their current chance of failure when traversing the chaos portals in the Infernal Source is now 1 in 12.
