Know Thy Measure is a mystery and achievement. This mystery is needed to access Moksha ritual site. It involves the poem found in Next of Kin being translated into dragonkin language.

Even though the player learns some mechanics used in the puzzles featured in this mystery during the Desperate Measures quest, the quest is not required for this mystery.

Walkthrough

Observation outpost

The route travelling from the base camp to observation outpost (requires 30 Agility)

The dragonkin pylon in Observation outpost.

• Head to the Observation outpost and enter the door on the north side.
  • Optionally, bring 20 un-noted ancient vis to activate the teleportation device inside, if the Orthen teleportation device in the base camp has been activated, the research Incomplete Portal Network I has been completed, and you have 70 Runecrafting.
• The dragonkin pylon is just inside the door. Interact until it displays symbols.
• Cycle each symbol to change it until they show: 3, 1, 5. (Hep)
  • Hover the mouse over the symbol to see the number, for example Symbol 1 and Symbol 2. Cycling the symbol makes it changes to the next number. When done successfully it will say "You hear a small beeping noise."
• Cycle symbols to: 4, 1, 4. (Kal)
  (When done successfully, it will say "You hear a small beeping noise.")
• Cycle symbols to: 1, 6, 7. (Ort)
  (When done successfully, the symbols will disappear.)
• Continue dialogue.
• Inspect the strange device which appears in your backpack, and choose the option to peer into it. ( 1)…

• Proceed to the entrance to Moksha ritual site.
  • Optionally, bring 20 un-noted orthenglass to activate the teleportation device, if the Orthen teleportation device in the Observation outpost has been activated, the research Incomplete Portal Network II has been completed, and you have 70 Crafting.
• Interact with the dragonkin statue to enter the pass phrase. ( 1•2•3•4)…

• Cycle the symbols to: 5, 1, 6. (Nos)
  (If done successfully, it will say "You hear a small beeping noise.")
• Cycle the symbols to: 4, 1, 8. (Kay)
  (If done successfully, it will say "You hear a small beeping noise.")
• Cycle the symbols to: 5, 1, 4. (Mok)
  (If done successfully, the symbols will disappear and a door will open.)
• Enter the stairs down to solve the mystery.
• Optionally, activate the teleportation device inside.
