A medium prismatic lamp is an item won on Treasure Hunter or obtained from other sources. It gives the same experience as a skill-specific medium XP lamp, destroying the lamp in the process.

From 26 July to 28 July 2013, this lamp gave a bonus of 50% additional experience. The promotion was introduced for a second time from 4 June to 12 June 2014. The promotion was introduced for a third time from 2 March to 6 March 2017.

If a prismatic lamp is used on Dungeoneering, the player will not receive Dungeoneering tokens.
