The Rift connection is an attackable pillar encountered while fighting Lucien during the final days of the 2018 Halloween event.

During the battle with Lucien, he will teleport to one of the rift connections to channel, rendering him immune to any further attacks and prompting the following message in the chatbox:

Lucien is immune to damage whilst he channels power through the rift, try attacking the pillar he is channelling from.

Players are required to destroy the connection he is channelling from, which would remove his immunity to attacks and allow the event to progress.
