Drop Rate[edit source]

I got five of these from harpoon fishing in a cage/harpoon spot in Catherby, would randomly get one. I only caught about 35 fish overall.104.243.247.66 17:02, February 8, 2016 (UTC)

I got some from training firemaking in my clan citadel. I didn't see any logic as to when one would be received. As I got 10 in 30 minutes, and then received 5 in 5 minutes. :S

Geez, I have skilled for a week and got no more pieces, yet 28 pieces dropped in two weeks. This drop rate algorithm has to be the weirdest! No logic, really!

I usually get mine while fishing at the Waterfall in Prifddinas.  Salix (Talk)  00:26, April 16, 2016 (UTC)

Cannot hold/own more than 50.[edit source]

Not sure how this talk-page thing functions, so I apologise if I am doing something wrong here. I think you can only be holding a maximum of 50 pieces. Explanation is as follows:

I collected 50 Sliskelion pieces, on the day of release and I still have them in my inventory now. I collected all 50, at the RuneSpan; because I did not wish to leave the RuneSpan, I am still here, after the 'week reset'. After the reset, I have not obtained any further pieces - therefore I am inclined to believe that one can only own 50 pieces at any given time, before they may collect more.

Here is a screenshot, of the pieces and the in-game clock, dictating it being one day after the weekly reset:

On the day of their release, that in-game clock stated that it was under one day, before the reset.

Is this how I 'sign' it? The editor kept complaining that I did not do so. (Old-Fool48 (talk) 09:20, February 10, 2016 (UTC))

This signature is fine, fyi you sign by adding ~~~~ at the end of your message. This will be automatically converted to your signature. Back on the subject, you probably have to claim the lamp at the scoreboard before you're able to collect more.  Salix (Talk)  09:51, February 10, 2016 (UTC)
This is going to sound silly, but I am not sure how to relpy to you. There is no 'relpy' option, so I assume that I just edit the page, and insert my text below it, like I am doing? Anywho, that was my point - One cannot hold more than 50 at a time. Meaning, they must turn the 50 that they own, before they can start earning more. I was trying to ask if anyone could confirm this, so that information could be added to the actual Wiki page if it was true. It is useful information, in my opinion. Old-Fool48 (talk) 10:06, February 10, 2016 (UTC)
I'll add it. And yes, you reply by editing the page. :)  Salix (Talk)  10:17, February 10, 2016 (UTC)

All Skills Made Equal?[edit source]

I swear that there must be some "qualifier" on the chances of getting these. If it WAS just "change on xp gain", then I would not get as many as 3 for ONE craft of runes (3 is the highest I've seen so far). I really have gotten SCORES more via Runecraftaing than anything else, whcih makes me belive that I'm getting "one roll PER rune crafted" or something...

Anyone have any *REAL* information on the statistics on how these are gained...? Ulithium Dragon (talk) 08:41, March 12, 2016 (UTC)

I do not have any factual data to give you, but I obtained my first 150 (three weeks) from RuneCrafting via the RuneSpan. From what I can tell, it gives you a 'chance' to receive one, upon every siphon attempt. I do not mean each 'click', it is every time that grey globe goes towards your character, and gives you a 1exp drop, or a rune and the rune's exp drop -- that attempt.
I have yet to attempt it with standard RuneCrafting. From what I have seen with other skills and what you have described, we can assume that it gives you a chance to receive a Sliskelion piece for every successful skilling action, or attempt; that, or every instance of experience gain. I apologise for the rambling, but yes, I think every skill has an equal chance of giving you one.

Event Start/ End date?[edit source]

When did this event start? When does the sliskelion piece drop event end? When does the GE Voting board event end?

Blueturtle79 (talk) 00:20, April 15, 2016 (UTC)

It started in February iirc you should be able to get 50 pieces per week and then use those to get a lamp from the scoreboard. But you have to get the lamp otherwise you won't get anymore pieces until you do.  Salix (Talk)  00:26, April 16, 2016 (UTC)
Drop event is still going. Just got more peices today.
     Blueturtle79 (talk) 16:37, May 5, 2016 (UTC)
Yes and it will be going until atleast Sliske's Endgame is released. P.S. Don't change someone else's text.  Salix (Talk)  16:47, May 5, 2016 (UTC)

Do holding onto Sliskeon pieces via inventory increase the chance of obtaining more when skilling?  —The preceding unsigned comment was added by UnholyRoc2 (talk) on 4 July 2016 at 16:02.

Probably not.  Salix (Talk)  14:05, July 4, 2016 (UTC)

Updated with new information (Currency Pouch)[edit source]

I think it's important to mention that due to the (recent) update on September 26, 2016, the pieces are (automatically) collected into the player's currency pouch. I was very confused as to why they weren't appearing in my inventory while skilling, and I'm sure I'm not the only person who felt this way! --71.225.33.193 22:06, September 30, 2016 (UTC)Slare2Prare4

The update was actually the 24th :P, I'll add it to the article :)  Salix (Talk)  22:48, September 30, 2016 (UTC)
Silly me, my calendar was already showing October instead of September... It has been added.  Salix (Talk)  22:53, September 30, 2016 (UTC)
