The Pok Ball Plus was first released for Pokmon Let's Go, Pikachu! & Let's Go, Eevee! and is compatible with Pokmon Sword & Shield. While it can't be used as a controller like it could for the previous game, it keeps its functionality with Pokmon GO and allows for you to take Pokmon for a stroll, this time Pokmon from the Galar Pokdex When you have a Pokmon in the PokBall Plus, you'll be able to hear it through the speaker and interact with it slightly through motion of the device by holding down the stick for two seconds. To mute it, press the control stick and top button simultaneously, and do it again to unmute. There's a support mode accessed by holding both buttons down for 5 seconds which can then be exited by pressing the stick down. It has three elements which you can cycle through with the top button.

Going For A Stroll |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
With the Pok Ball Plus, you have the capability to put a Pokmon from your storage in Pokmon Sword & Shield into the Pok Ball Plus. This does not remove the specific Pokmon from the game. To do this, go to Mystery Gift and there will be an option to Take Your Pokmon for a Stroll. If you have received the Mew from the Pok Ball Plus, you can put a Pokmon into the Pok Ball Plus. You can do this for multiple Pok Ball Plus devices at any one time.. When in the Pok Ball Plus, the Pokmon can be played with by pushing down the control stick for two seconds. There, it goes into a play mode where, if you shake the device gently or rotate the control stick, you can play with the Pokmon with varying results which net you bonuses. These bonuses are exclusive to Pokmon Let's Go. The Pokmon will also sometimes call out to you which requires you to press the top button to respond. If the Pok Ball Plus is connected to Pokmon GO while a Pokmon is in it, the Pokmon will receive special bonuses as well. The more you succeed in catching Pokmon and do other things such as spin-stops, the more bonuses you get. When you receive your Pokmon back from the stroll, based on what it did during it, you will get a variety of item rewards. These rewards are determined by points you gain for the walk. These points are accued by doing the tasks Unlike Pokmon Let's Go, you don't gain Experience
