Detective Pikachu Returns again on a new mystery to solve, in which the story itself is very similar to the Detective Pikachu movie.

The game was initially announced in 2019, but after a four-year wait, it was finally released in 2023 a whole generation behind, with graphics comparable to the 3DS game. Ultimately, it received lukewarm reviews and was forgotten about not long after release.
