CLASSROOM MANAGEMNT
1. Unfavorable
learning conditions
This problem can arise due to,
• overcrowded class room with more than the regular number of
students to a class.
• poor lighting facilities and inadequate ventilation in the
classroom
• Oderless positioning of furniture and cabinets, making the
collection and retrieval of tools less efficient.
•sources of noise from outside and inside the classroom will
obstruct understanding of the lesson.
2.Teacher’s
poor management skills
- The teachers’ lack of adequate knowledge and skills in handling
the children in education as well as modelling misbahaviour
contribute to challenges in class room.
- misbehavior should be dealt without disrupting the learning
activity
3. Varied
response of students
- each students are different in their individual attitudes,
interests and abilities
- this is manly due to, family background, physical and mental
capacities, and emotional traits among others.
- There are students whom disrespects shool laws and try to
violate it often
- The eager beavers will dominate the conversation with their
enthusiasm, opinions and thoughts, and the shy ones will simply sit
back and let them
4.Time
constraints
- Eventhough the teacher may able to present the class by sharing
every details and solving the doubts of students ,since time limit
are there for each particular subjects, most of the time it become
a one way conversation

THAT CAN BE IMPLEMENTED TO PREVENT FUTURE
CHALLENGES
1. Maintain
proper seating arrangements for students
- Students in rows face front of classroom arrangement allows
students to focus on when are lecturing or teaching routines and
procedures.
- Position student desks so that they face the center when you
are facilitating classroom discussions.
- The outer area is ideal for skits, role playing, and student
demonstrations.
- It creates a friendlier atmosphere
- Situate chairs around tables so that students do not have their
backs facing you.
- This arrangement is ideal for cooperative learning
activities.
2.Maintain proper
allocation for furniture
- Exhibit shelves are either permanently pinned to the wall or
are made to stand at the sides.
- White board for writing and clarifying lesson discussions,
together with bulletin boards, are available for posting important
messages and outstanding pieces of students work, art and
illustrations.
3.MAKE THE
CLASSROM CLEAN AND TIDY
- Clean rooms, hallways and surroundings Should be neat and tidy.
the teacher should schedule who is responsible for their neatness
on a regular basis.
- The physical environment must also be a safe place where
curious, overactive and energetic children are always o n the
go.
- proper lighting and ventilation must be provided and maintained
for everybody’s comfort during class hours.
4. AVOID
UNACCEPTABLE AND INEFFECTIVE BEHAVIOURS
- Avoid shouting,Nagging the students
- provide punishments to misconducts like,keeping a student in a
“detention area” during or after classes as a penalty for
misbehavior is a waste of time and occasion for learning.
- The shameful experience is not easy to forget.
- Denying a student some privileges due to unnecessary
hyperactivity can all the more encourage repetitions.
- Assignment of additional homework i n a larger level make them
dislike the subject.
- Grades for academic achievement should not be affected due to
misdemeanor.
5.REWARD
POSITIVE BEHAVIOURS
- Award merits for good behavior and demerits for inconsistencies
and lapses.
- Give students the free to express or explain agitated feelings
and misgivings rather than censure them right away.
6. MAINTAIN
PROPER COMMUNICATION WITH TEACHING FACULTY AND
STUDENTS
- Proper conversations can help in discovering problems and
agreeing on mutually beneficial solutions
- Use verbal reinforcers that encourage good behavior and
discourage bad tendencies.
- Use nonverbal gestures, frown or a hard look to dissuade them
from mischiefs.
