This has caused creek and river level rises in parts of the catchment. Minor flooding is likely at Dagun Pocket late Friday afternoon, at Gympie overnight Friday into Saturday, and at Tiaro Sunday morning. Further showers are forecast for the remainder of Friday. Mary River to Gympie: Minor flooding is likely along the Mary River to Gympie. The Mary River at Moy Pocket is currently at 9.25 metres and rising, below the minor flood level (11.65 m). A below minor peak is likely at Moy Pocket Friday afternoon. No observations are available for the Mary River at Dagun Pocket. The river level is expected to be below the minor flood level (7.00 m) and rising. The Mary River at Dagun Pocket is likely to exceed the minor flood level late Friday afternoon. A minor flood peak is likely overnight Friday into Saturday. The Mary River at Gympie is currently at 1.36 metres and rising, below the minor flood level (6.00 m). The Mary River at Gympie is likely to exceed the minor flood level overnight Friday into Saturday. The river level may reach around 7.80 metres Saturday morning, with minor flooding. Higher levels are possible as upstream flood water arrives. Mary River downstream of Gympie: Minor flooding is likely along the Mary River downstream of Gympie. The Mary River at Miva is currently at 2.84 metres and steady, below the minor flood level (7.50 m). A below minor peak may occur at Miva overnight Saturday into Sunday. Higher levels may be possible. The Mary River at Tiaro is currently at 2.64 metres and rising, below the minor flood level (6.00 m). The Mary River at Tiaro is likely to exceed the minor flood level Sunday morning. The river level may reach around 6.50 metres Sunday afternoon. This has caused creek and river level rises throughout the catchments, and minor flooding is likely at Woodford during Friday. The minor flooding has eased at Gregor Creek Friday morning. Further rainfall is forecast for the remainder of Friday morning, which may cause further river and creek level rises. The situation is being monitored and this warning will be updated as required. Stanley River to Somerset Dam: Minor flooding is likely along the Stanley River to Somerset Dam. The Stanley River at Woodford is currently at 4.44 metres and rising, below the minor flood level.
