The TVS Group was founded by Shri. T V Sundram Iyengar in 1911. The group displays Trust, Value and Service as one of India’s largest industrial entities. He created the foundation for the road transport industry in the erstwhile Madras Presidency through the state’s first bus service.
Prof Sir Ralf Dieter Speth is the Chairman of the TVS Group. He holds a Dipl. Wirt. Ing (FH) from the University of Rosenheim and a Doctorate in Engineering from the University of Warwick. He commenced his career in BMW and did his PhD at Warwick Manufacturing Group, University of Warwick.
