Strong promising start with great vocals on the voice acting and sound tracks.
What really got me at first was its themes along cyber and VR world, rouge AI with hints of philosophy on happiness. Huge praise for μ's seiyuu Ueda Reina for her voice and her singing (which also features popular vocaloid composers) - became an instant fan of her.
Wasn't really a fan of the character design, which looks odd to me with all that spikes & stuff. Plot was pretty bumpy filled mostly with pointless flashy but dull battles. IMO the plot really wants to convey the physiological aspect of happiness and purpose of living, and the battles to me are just getting in the way and at times feels out of place.
I would still say recommended for the extremely great sound track and for Reina's voice and if you are a fan of vocaloid style music, and for fans of the game which its based on. 5/10 for me overall.

Wanting to save humanity - which she believes is continuously suffering - she lures people to a virtual reality world called Mobius with her songs. She then imprisons them in Mobius, thinking they will be free from the suffering of reality and that all their wishes will come true. Nine members of the "Going Home Club," a club that was formed because the characters want to escape from Mobius and go home, try to find a way out.

A psychological and philosophical anime about the perception of happiness in reality vs. dream from various viewpoints.
I liked that aspect of it a lot. The character design was neat, the music and songs of μ pretty good - the most memorable song of the anime was the ED though.
