Bad baby acne?
My little man had very mild baby acne and the MCHN said totally normal and will go away on its own. That was a week ago and since it has gotten a little worse everyday. It's pretty red in his hair and on his neck and back. Would this be worth going to the GP for? He seems normal otherwise but he has them on one ear love and they were getting crusty.

- My daughters skin was very similar including the crusty ears. I have been bathing her every second day in warm water with mustella bath oil and wiping her face with a soft warm washer every other day (sometimes twice a day). I put mustella stellatopia moisturiser on her ears where crusty and rubbed off the crust during the bath. It has improved dramatically but she is still a bit bumpy. I think it just clears with time really but keeping the skin clean helps.Advertisement | page continues below
- lPosted 06-09-16My little girl has exactly same as these pics and has gotten progressively worse over last few days. I'm just cotton wool and warm water cleaning it after each feed and used coconut oil this morning and seems to have settled it a little.
I did read somewhere it was something to do with hormones from mammys milk but it'd settle down after a while. - fleurjane Original PosterPosted 06-09-16That gives me a little piece of mind. He seems his normal self which is good so I guess I just need to let it go on his own but I have been trying to keep his face as clean as I can.

- BH from June 2015... My bubba had what looks like the same thing around the same time as yours. It lasted about a week or just over. I went to the paed and he said not to put anything on it, that it would get worse before it gets better and that it would bother me more than her - all true. I put up a similar pic on here and had a bunch of mums BH on to my post telling me the same thing etc. Go to the Drs maybe just to rule out an allergy etc, but try not to worry too much.
