The Farmgate Cafe in the English Market is a great place for lunch.
Cork has so much to offer visitors, we went to St. Anne's Church, famous for its Shandon Bells Tower. Other places of interest include Fitzgeralds Park, St. Fin Barres Cathedral, Elizabeth Fort, Nano Nagle Museum as well as the main shopping areas around Patricks St., and Oliver Plunkett St..

There are many and varied restaurants for one to eplore to their taste.
Coach tours to other areas such as Blarney with its castle and famous stone. Kinsale harbour, Flotta Island with its zoo and many more towns villages to explore.

Anam Cara is beautifully decorated with a lovely common area and dining room. Our room was en-suite, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed a good breakfast and there are vegetarian options. Aideen was a welcoming host and furnished us with plenty of tips of what to see in and around Cork. The hotel is convenient for the city centre and close to the English Market and bars, music and restaurants. Will definitely be back next time we’re in Cork.
We had a family night away in Cork city, this hotel hits all the right notes for a family stay. Staff were friendly, helpful, and presented as staff that enjoyed their work and were respected and treated well by management. Staff were kind and friendly with our children. Lovely rooms, simple, smart, and minimalist decor throughout, great breakfast. Great location in a residential area only minutes walk from city centre. We'll be back....
Convenient location for the city centre of Cork. Area has become more cosmopolitan since we were here pre Covid with more bars and restaurants to choose from near the hotel.
