Resubmit Waivers for Dracut Soccer Junior Varsity - 8th Grade

Resubmit Waivers for Dracut Soccer Junior Varsity - 8th Grade

The Issue

As a member of the Dracut Soccer Junior Varsity team, I am deeply concerned about the recent revelation that the 8th grade waivers were never submitted or accepted. This oversight has put our entire soccer program at risk, as we now face a shortage of players for both the Varsity and Junior Varsity teams.

This issue is personal to me and my fellow teammates and families because we have dedicated our summer to practicing, making sacrifices such as rearranging vacations, attending fundraising events, and participating in tryouts. We were thrilled when we received confirmation about which teams we would be on. However, our excitement quickly turned into disappointment when we discovered that the necessary waivers were not submitted.

By resubmitting these waivers promptly, we can ensure that there are enough players for both the Varsity and Junior Varsity teams. This will not only benefit us but also promote fairness by providing everyone with equal playing time.

According to statistics from previous seasons, having a fully functioning Junior Varsity team has proven beneficial in developing skills among younger players while also providing opportunities for growth within our soccer program. Additionally, it enhances safety by allowing proper rotation of players during matches.

We urge you to take into consideration our commitment to the Town of Dracut and its soccer teams. Our dedication should not go unnoticed or unrewarded. By resubmitting these waivers promptly, you will demonstrate your support for youth sports development in Dracut.

We kindly request that you rectify this situation immediately so that all players can continue their passion for soccer without any hindrances or disappointments caused by administrative oversights.

Thank you for your attention to this matter and your commitment to fostering a thriving soccer community in Dracut.

Sincerely,

Dracut Varsity, Jr Varsity, Devoted Family Members of Dracut High Soccer
