I liked the lion king live action movie that recently came out, but I felt something was missing, this was missing ever since the original lion king came out, and that missing object is a backstory for Scar & Mufusa. That would make a interesting story to tell the story of Mufusa and Scar and show why Scar HATED Mufusa to the point he wanted him killed. We already know the obvious that Scar wanted power but it has to be deeper. This movie could be called “Tale of two brothers” which would be the only aspect from the nook that the movie would provide along with Scar’s real name “Taka”. I think this movie would give Disney Writers a new direction, that it’s not all about live action remakes, it’s about the story you tell thru animation and new stories.  Adult Mufusa and Scar should be voiced by the legends themselves James Earl Jones & Jeremy Irons, at the end of the movie because they are getting up in age. This will  be a very successful animated prequel to the original
