Review: Quaker Quinoa Chocolate Nut Medley Granola Bars
I don't know what it is about these Quaker Quinoa bars and Marsh. In the last review, I also found that flavor on clearance and once again in a visit to the clearance section, I found this box of Quaker Quinoa Chocolate Nut Medley Granola Bars on clearance as well. Not sure if Marsh can't sell them or they just can't sell in general, but it seems odd to me. Either way, a box of these contains five bars and each bar is 1.23 ounces with 150 calories and two grams of protein.

Review: Quaker Quinoa Yogurt, Fruit & Nut Granola Bars
I'll admit that I've been a little slow to get this new (it was at one time) Quaker product into my review catalog. I've got a pretty good reason though...they've never been at what I feel is a fair price. So, on a recent trip to Marsh, I found them at a very fair price (on clearance) and I know I had to snatch up a five of these Quaker Quinoa Yogurt, Fruit & Nut Granola Bars for a much delayed review. Typically, these run in the $3.00-$4.00 range for a box (at Kroger), but let's just say that I got these at a price substantially lower than that, as the remnants of the clearance tag on the front of the box will infer. Anyway, each bar in the box is 1.23 ounces and has 150 calories and two grams of protein. These bars are designed to be snacks, so they aren't large from a calorie, weight or protein perspective.

Review: Quaker Chewy Birthday Cake Granola Bars
It must be new product season for Quaker Chewy bars. Recently, I've noticed and reviewed several of their new Girl Scouts affiliated flavors, but today I'm going to be taking a look at a new product that is not really affiliated with anything except the anniversary of someone's birth and the dessert related to that. Yep, it's a box of eight Quaker Chewy Birthday Cake Granola Bars that I stupidly paid the full price of $2.75 for at Marsh. I say stupidly because they went on sale for $1.99 two days after I bought this box. AARGH! Anyway, each bar in the box clocks in at 0.84 ounces and has 100 calories. Basically, it's a standard Quaker Chewy bar.

Review: Quaker Chewy Girl Scouts Thin Mints Granola Bars
I mentioned in my previous Quaker Chewy review of one of their Girl Scouts products that I found it strange that they just wouldn't refer to the flavor by it's actual cookie name (Samoa). Well, that's not a problem in the case of today's review as Quaker happily dubbed this by it's actual cookie name right on the front of this box of Quaker Chewy Girl Scouts Thin Mints Granola Bars. The fact that they will put the name on the cookie on the front of this box and will not put the name of the cookie on the other box lends weight to my crazy theory that "Samoa" is somewhat controversial. Anyway, this box of eight bars cost me $2.50 at Kroger and each 0.84 ounce bar has 100 calories packed in.

Review: Quaker Chewy Girl Scouts Caramel Coconut Granola Bars
I hate paying full price for Quaker Chewy bars and I' m guessing that every time I've bought a Chewy bar for a review on this blog, I only bought it when it was on sale. Actually, that's probably not accurate now that I think about it because every now and then, they'll sneak out a flavor into the wild that totally shocks me. They've done that twice recently with a couple of products that are Girl Scouts branded and today is the first of those reviews as I take a look at this box of eight Quaker Chewy Girl Scouts Caramel Coconut Bars that I picked up at Meijer for the regular price of $2.59. Each of the eight bars in this box are 0.84 ounces and come in at 100 calories with a...actually, I'm not going to talk about the protein here because it really isn't worth it.

Review: Muller Dessert Inspired Strawberry Cheesecake Yogurt
Anyone that reads this blog even semi-regularly has probably figured out that I really like dessert. I probably like it a bit too much actually. So, when I see a normal food product that inspired by dessert, I get kind of excited. I get especially excited if it's a somewhat healthy food product that is masquerading as dessert. Yep, simple pleasures for a simple man, I guess. Anyway, adding to my Muller review collection, I picked up this container of Muller Dessert Inspired Strawberry Cheesecake Yogurt on sale at Kroger for $1.00. It's 5.3 ounces and packs in 200 calories and seven grams of protein.

Review: Muller Dessert Inspired Raspberry Brownie Supreme Yogurt
It seems like I've exhausted the yogurt category at most of my regular grocery stores (normal chains like Kroger, Meijer, etc.; I know there's a TON of other stuff at the niche chains like Fresh Market, etc.) and since that's where I do the overwhelming majority of my shopping, I love it when a new yogurt pops up. That was the case with a couple of new Muller Dessert Inspired products that I spotted on a recent trip to Kroger. Muller already has a line of Ice Cream inspired yogurts, so apparently they are going all out on dessert with this new line. Those Ice Cream Inspired reviews got me intrigued for this Muller Dessert Inspired Raspberry Brownie Supreme Yogurt that I was able to pick up on sale for $1.00. Each container is 5.3 ounces and has 210 calories with seven grams of protein.

Review: Muller Raspberry Chocolate Chip Yogurt
I mentioned in one of my previous Muller reviews how bizarre I found it that Muller (Quaker) has introduced a new line of products that they've dubbed as "Ice Cream Inspired", yet they do not mention that at all on the packaging and only on the website. If I weren't writing food reviews for this blog, I'd have no idea that they had that inspiration if I saw these products on the shelf. Just seems completely non-sensical to me. Anyway, I picked up this Ice Cream Inspired cup of Muller Raspberry Chocolate Chip Yogurt on sale at Kroger for $1.00. It's a 5.3 ounce cup of yogurt that is packed with 210 calories and seven grams of protein.

Review: Muller Greek 100 Black Cherry & Pomegranate Greek Yogurt
I guess I shouldn't be surprised that Muller (Quaker) is copying everyone by now introducing their own version of one hundred calorie Greek yogurt. Pretty much every product category in the world is a follow-the-leader type of game, so why shouldn't Greek yogurt be different? The answer is that it shouldn't. So, with this latest Muller review, they now enter the one hundred calorie Greek yogurt foray on the blog with today's look at this container of Muller Greek 100 Black Cherry & Pomegranate Greek Yogurt that I picked up on sale at Kroger for $1.00. Each two-part container is 5.3 ounces and has (obviously) 100 calories and ten grams of protein. Since it's one hundred calories, they've also eradicated all fat in this as well.

Review: Muller Strawberries and Cream Yogurt
I mentioned in my prior Muller review that they had done a good job of sneaking more of their oddly shaped containers into my local Meijer by producing a new product line. A product line that advertises that it's really fatty as it proudly proclaims it is 6% milkfat on the container. Kind of spits in the face of conventional logic in my mind as it seems most products want to advertise that they are leaner. I guess that fattiness is why the denote these as "Ice Cream Inspired" on their website. Anyway, I picked up this container of Muller Strawberries and Cream Yogurt for $1.29 and it is what seems to be the industry standard 5.3 ounces. It's also packed with 170 calories and six grams of protein.

Review: Muller Mint Chocolate Chip Yogurt
As I've said many times before, I sometimes run into products in the grocery store that are complete surprises to me as they just pop up out of nowhere. Today's review is one of those as I thought I had pretty much reviewed all Muller products before. Much to my surprise, as I mentioned, I was in Meijer recently and this container of NEW Muller Mint Chocolate Chip Yogurt appeared on the shelf. According to their website, this is part of a line that is "Ice Cream Inspired" (would be nice if they put that on the container), so I guess there's that. Anyway, this one set me back $1.29 and is 5.3 ounces with 210 calories and seven grams of protein. Interestingly, it advertises itself as 6% milkfat on the container and while I've seen products advertise themselves in varying percentages of milkfat up to 2%, I've never seen someone advertise such a seemingly random number of 6% before.

Review: Quaker Protein Peanut Butter Chocolate Baked Bars
The Quaker machine keeps on trucking. Quaker Oats has been the manufacturer in the second most amount of my reviews at this point (Kellogg's is first) and due to that, it's only fitting that I add in another review in order to keep their history on this blog going. In Meijer recently, I saw a box of five of these Quaker Protein Peanut Butter Chocolate Baked Bars on sale for $2.50 and being that these are a new product (they are so new that they don't even have a presence on the Quaker website yet) and also yet another entrant into the growing protein bar foray, I knew that these had a Crazy Food Dude Review written all over them. Each bar in this box is 1.65 ounces has 190 calories with ten grams of protein.

Review: Quaker Chewy Caramel Apple Granola Bars
As I mentioned in my last Quaker Chewy bar review, the Quaker machine always keeps on rolling with new Chewy bar flavors. Today's review is the other flavor that I picked up on a recent trip to Meijer that was tagged as a new flavor. Loving Chewy bars and loving new flavors, I giddily grabbed this box of eight Quaker Chewy Caramel Apple Granola Bars off the shelf for the lovely sale price of $1.67. Each bar in the box is 0.84 ounces and comes in at the low end of calorie counts (for Chewy bars) at 90 calories bar.

Review: Quaker Chewy Chocolate Strawberries Granola Bars
Those tricky Quaker Oats people (Tricky Dick Nixon was a Quaker, by the way; coincidence?). They keep putting out new products for reviews and when I was recently strolling through my local Meijer, I noticed that there are two new flavors of their standard size Chewy bar. Today's review is the first of those flavors that I'll look at as I was able to pick up this box of eight Quaker Chewy Chocolate Strawberries Granola Bars on sale for $1.67. These are so new that they do not even have a presence on the Quaker website as of the time that I am writing this post. Each bar in the box is 0.84 ounces and 100 calories. Basically, that's the same size and caloric measurements as the standard Chewy products.

Review: Muller Greek Corner Lowfat Yogurt with Pineapple Passion Fruit
I love the Free Friday Download promotion from Kroger. Every week, I load the coupon for something that I had no intention of buying onto my Kroger Plus card and happily march to the store looking to make my unnecessary acquisition. On a recent week, the free download allowed me to pick up another Muller product for review and being that I've had so many of them, it was difficult to find one that I haven't tried yet. Fortunately, after digging through the case, I was able to find this 5.3 ounce container of Muller Greek Corner Lowfat Yogurt with Pineapple Passion Fruit. The partitioned container was 150 calories and nine grams of protein.

Review: Quaker Big Chewy Sweet & Salty Caramel Popcorn Crunch Granola Bars
I've touched on one of these new Quaker Big Chewy Sweet & Salty granola bars in a prior review and in classic Chewy bar fashion, it was tasty, but certainly not anything that would re-define my life. Even though I've got that prior experience with countless Chewy bars, I was still anxious to dive into this box of five Quaker Big Chewy Sweet & Salty Caramel Popcorn Crunch Granola Bars because just the flavor combination seemed intriguing since it is something that I've never seen in granola bar form before. Anyway, I picked up this box up on sale at Meijer for $2.00 and each bar in the box was 1.41 ounces and had 170 calories.

Review: Quaker Real Medleys Cherry Pistachio Multigrain Fruit & Nut Bars
I already touched on one of Quaker's attempts at turning single serving oatmeal cups into fruit and nut bars in a prior review, but today I figured that I might as well try it again. In the same purchasing trip that generated the last review, I was able to pick up this box of five Quaker Real Medleys Cherry Pistachio Multigrain Fruit & Nut Bars at Meijer for $3.00. Each bar inside this box comes in at 1.36 ounces and has 170 calories of multigrain fun (well, I guess my review will be judge of that).

Review: Quaker Big Chewy Sweet & Salty Chocolate & Salted Caramel Granola Bars
Hey, hey!! Another new Quaker Chewy product! I hadn't reviewed one of these for a long, long time, so I'm glad Chewy bars can make it back to the blog, albeit in the Big Chewy form. I picked up a box of six of these Quaker Big Chewy Sweet & Salty Chocolate & Salted Caramel Granola Bars on sale at Meijer for $2.00 and each bar in the box weighs in at 1.41 ounces (it's 60% bigger!) with a robust 170 calories. I guess it is a BIG Chewy bar after all, so that calorie count shouldn't surprise me.

Review: Quaker Real Medleys Peach Almond Multigrain Fruit & Nut Bars
It's funny, Quaker feels that they have such a success on their hands with their Real Medleys single serve oatmeal cups, that they've decided to take those previously reviewed flavor combinations and try them out in fruit and not bars. Funny concept to me when I really think about it, but I'll try anything, so that led me to pick up this box of five Quaker Real Medleys Peach Almond Multigrain Fruit & Nut Bars at Meijer for $3.00. Each bar in the box comes in at 1.34 ounces with 160 calories. I usually hit on protein, but it's such an irrelevant number here, that I'll just skip it.

Review: Quaker Real Medleys Blueberry Hazelnut Oatmeal +
I admit, I've been sitting on the source of today's product review for a quite a while. As you can see above, it was obviously a "NEW" product when I bought it, but that has been quite a while and there is nothing new about it anymore. Even though it's not new, it's time to introduce another review into my Quaker review catalog with this review of the single serving cup of Quaker Real Medleys Blueberry Hazelnut Oatmeal + that I picked up at Kroger for $1.33. Each cup is 270 calories of oatmeal goodness.
