Savannah Chrisley has shared a 'bittersweet' update regarding her dad Todd's prison stint and claimed he has been 'threatened' whilst behind bars.

During the latest episode of her Unlocked podcast, the 27-year-old confirmed that her father - who is currently serving a 12 year sentence for tax evasion and bank fraud - is going to be moved elsewhere because 'FPC Pensacola is closing down.'

'Before I wrap up, something I did not touch on that I wanna touch on because I posted it on social media, but dad's facility is closing down,' Savannah said towards the end of this week's episode.

'FPC Pensacola is closing down. It's a bittersweet feeling. I am happy it's closing down because no human being should be subjected to the conditions or treatment that that facility gave.

'[But] I'm sad that it's closing down because I don't know where he's gonna go, I don't know where they're gonna try and put him,' she continued.

Savannah went on to claim that a woman who works at the facility 'hates' Todd, 55, and has 'threatened' to 'send him so far up in New York to make it harder for his family to visit him.'

'I hope and pray that this does not happen because that is pure retaliation and I will not stand for it,' Savannah warned, stating that a policy requires inmates 'to be within 500 miles of your home.'

Savannah, whose mother Julie Chrisley is also behind bars, then said: 'I hope and pray they abide by that policy because if not, you guys know, I will fight tooth and nail.'

'But the facility is closing down and they will be demolishing that facility [and] I am going to do everything in my power to stop that demolition.'

Savannah explained that the reason she doesn't want FPC Pensacola demolished just yet is because she wants to reveal how uninhabitable the facility is.

'Yes, that was my end goal. But it's not my end goal until I get all the documentation that I need,' she said.

'And the documentation that I need is a full and thorough inspection of that facility and the environments.

'I need to know the amount of lead-based paint, black mold, asbestos... I need to know the numbers in the drinking water. I need to know it all because there are men leaving there with numerous medical issues, cancer, you name it,' she alleged.

'So, they went to that facility for a certain time and they're leaving with a life time sentence. So I want to have all the documentation for these men to file a class action lawsuit if they deem fit.'

She then added: 'So I am going to try and stop the demolition of that and I don't know where dad's gonna go, and that's the tough part.

'I know it's gonna be hard on dad and it breaks my heart,' she said of her reality TV star father, who was convicted on federal charges of tax evasion and bank fraud in June 2022 alongside wife Julie.

The couple were indicted on charges of tax evasion and conspiracy to commit bank fraud in August 2019.

Prosecutors alleged that they submitted falsified financial documents to secure millions of dollars in loans. The couple were found guilty of defrauding community banks out of more than $30 million.

Julie, 52, is currently serving seven years in prison and her appeal for a shorter sentence was denied in September 2024.

A federal judge refused to hand the disgraced TV star a more lenient sentence, and declared it 'will not change' despite her appeal.
