This is the bizarre moment a diver comes out of the sea with a huge octopus clinging to his back.

The creature can be seen wrapping its tentacles around the man as he tries to shake it off.

It is not clear where the footage was filmed, but the diver appears to be speaking Greek. 

The video begins with him gently swimming towards the cameraman, who appears to be standing on board a boat.

Suddenly realising the octopus is attached to his back, the diver ducks under the water to try to get it off.

But as he rises to the surface, the enormous creature is still wrapping its tentacles around him.
