LeBron James and son Bronny attend star-studded dinner in Miami with basketball legend's A-list pals

LeBron James headed to luxury restaurant MIKA in Miami with son Bronny and some high-profile names on Tuesday ahead of the Lakers' clash with the Heat.

On the eve of the game at Kaseya Center, LeBron and Bronny enjoyed a private dinner whipped up by six-Michelin-starred chef Michael White, who hosted an exclusive preview of the Mediterranean Riviera-inspired restaurant he is opening next week.

White is launching the new restaurant in Coral Gables with the NBA legend's close friend Alex Pirez, meaning they were two of the superstar guests in attendance for his preview dinner.

Also seen on the night were Heat player Bam Adebayo, who will line up against LeBron on Wednesday night, and WNBA star A'Ja Wilson.

Model Shannon de Lima, the former wife of American singer and actor Marc Anthony, and the legendary Andy Garcia's brother Rene were other A-list names at the event, along with music mogul Timbaland and actress Virginia Alvarez.

LeBron's limited-edition Hennessy is said to have flowed all night as the VIP guests tucked into White's signature dishes and enjoyed each other's company.

Nevertheless, the basketball great is unlikely to have indulged himself too much on the eve of his latest outing against Miami.

Earlier this week it was claimed that his plan to play all 82 games of this NBA season may be quashed after his latest disappointing performance against the Timberwolves.

James, who will turn 40 this month, shot just 4-of-16 from the field, committed six turnovers and tallied a minus-28 plus-minus (the worst on the team) in the Lakers' 109-80 loss on Monday.

And amid his struggles from the field - he's made none of his last 19 three-point attempts across four games - head coach JJ Redick wondered aloud whether some rest might do the star good.

'I don't know that's in the best interest of him and us if he does that, but if he's feeling well and feeling good, then he should play,' Redick said of James' goal to play in every game, via ESPN.

'But we obviously want to... manage that as best we can.'

Bronny, meanwhile, was assigned to the Lakers' G-League affiliate earlier this month and is expected to move between LA and South Bay this season after being selected in the second round of the NBA Draft.
