Taylor Swift has endorsed Kamala Harris for President only days after her friend Brittany Mahomes - wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes - appeared to support Donald Trump.
Caitlin Clark was among those who liked the bombshell post by Swift - the girlfriend of Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce - following Tuesday's Presidential debate.
Patrick Mahomes and Kelce are close friends and the couples sat together at the men's US Open singles final on Sunday.
They later headed out for a double date in New York, not long after Brittany had hit the headlines by liking several posts on social media in support of Trump.
More than 3.2million people had liked Swift's Instagram post in a little over an hour on Tuesday night, when the pop superstar confirmed: 'I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election.'

She explained that the Vice President 'fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them.'
Swift added: 'I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos.
'I was so heartened and impressed by her selection of running mate (Walz), who has been standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman’s right to her own body for decades. I’ve done my research, and I’ve made my choice.'
Swift and Brittany Mahomes developed a close friendship last season, as their partners led the Kansas City Chiefs all the way to the Super Bowl once more. They were regularly seen sitting together at games and hanging out off the field, too.
But the singer's post is the latest chapter in her and Brittany being on opposite sides of the American political spectrum. A source exclusively told DailyMail.com that they 'respect that they have different views' and have made a 'pact' to avoid discussing politics last month.
Swift's endorsement also comes less than a week after they sat in different luxury suites for the Chiefs' season opener against the Baltimore Ravens.

Swift sat with Travis' mom, Donna Kelce, and Chariah Gordon, fiancee of Kansas City's Mecole Hardman. Brittany sat with her daughter Sterling Skye and others.
Besides Clark, other celebrities who have liked the post from Kelce's girlfriend of around a year include Ellen DeGeneres and actor Mariska Hargitay.
Walz found out the news of Swift's endorsement during a live interview on MSNBC where he put his hand over his heart and looked genuinely touched by the news.
'I'm incredibly grateful to Taylor Swift,' Walz said. 'I say that as a fellow cat owner.'
'That's the type of courage we need in America,' he added. 'This is an opportunity Swifties: KamalaHarris.com - get over there.'
Harris stopped by a watch party after her debate with Trump. Her walk-off song was 'The Man' by Swift.
