Kelsey Parker makes the 'really painful' decision to take her wedding rings off nearly two years after husband Tom's death... after finding happiness again with former convict boyfriend Sean
Kelsey Parker has revealed she has decided to take off her wedding rings nearly two years after her husband Tom Parker's death.
The widow of The Wanted star, 33, said the 'painful' decision came after months of 'torturing herself' over when would be the right time to take them off.
Tom died aged 33 in March 2022 following an 18-month battle with stage four glioblastoma brain cancer.
Kelsey has since found happiness with former convict Sean Boggans, who was jailed in 2013 for four years after he killed a man with one punch.
Kelsey took to Instagram on Sunday to say she wants to do something special with her engagement and wedding ring so as 'to honour my marriage with Tom, while not living in the past'.

Alongside a photo montage of their 13-year relationship, Kelsey wrote: 'Hi everyone, hope you have had a lovely Sunday.
'I wanted to share something with you all this evening. It’s something I’ve been thinking long and hard about for a while now, and as we end the first week of a new year, I have decided to take off my rings.
'It felt really painful every time I looked at them and I have been torturing myself over when will be the right time. I know now there will never be a right or wrong time, but there does have to come a point in my life when I remove them.
'Of course I’ll always be Tom’s, he’ll always be in my heart and I know I will forever be in his, but right now, in this world I’m not married anymore as much as that breaks my heart to admit.'
Kelsey asked fans for their creative ideas about how she could do something 'special' with the rings until she bestows them to their children Aurelia, four, and son Bodhi, three.
She continued: 'Sometimes I wonder if I’ve left them on too long and other times I think I just expected to wear them forever.
'How do I protect and honour my marriage to Tom while not living in the past?!
'Anyway, I’m going on here, but it is something I wanted to share with you all as you give me so much love and support. Please do send me any ideas you have of what I could do with my rings, and no hate please! I want 2024 to be a positive year and I have no space for negative energy or comments. Love and light xxx'.

Michelle Keegan and Jessica Wright posted love heart emojis while Vicky Pattison said: 'Sending you love babe'.
The poignant moment comes after Kelsey spoke about finding happiness again with boyfriend Sean.
Kelsey, who has received vitriolic abuse for moving onto a new romance following the tragic loss of her late husband, says Sean is 'full of remorse' over the attack.
However, while Kelsey admitted it has been tough to receive the criticism, her relationship has been accepted by Tom's mum and his family.
The star said she was initially nervous to tell Tom's parents about Sean as she was scared of hurting them.
However, she revealed they have been incredibly accepting of her new relationship.
Talking in an interview with Closer magazine, the mother-of-two admitted: 'Tom's mum was brilliant and gave me her blessing. She just wants me and the kids to be happy.'
She continued: 'I spent months feeling not much at all after Tom died, and felt I had lost who I was as a person. I was suddenly "Kelsey the widow," but Sean doesn't treat me with pity.'
Kelsey's new man, electrician Sean was jailed for four years in 2013 after he killed Shaun McDermott with a single punch while waiting for a taxi outside an east London boozer.
Sean was waiting for his then-girlfriend to collect him when an argument broke out with the 44-year-old, who was knocked to the ground during the skirmish. CCTV footage later captured the electrician walking away from the scene.
Shaun was discovered by police laying on the pavement at about 1am with a brain haemorrhage. A postmortem found that he died as a result of head injuries, with Boggans handed a four-year sentence by a judge at the Old Bailey.
Discussing Sean's past, Kelsey said: 'Everyone has a past and Sean has a lot of remorse for what happened.'
The star also revealed she thinks she has been judged more for moving on as a woman, than she would have been if she was a man.
