The former Disney star wore several gold rings and carried a black quilted Chanel purse.
She sat next to pal Lawrence at her table, and was also seen talking up her Only Murders in the Building co-star Molly Shannon, as well as actress Kerry Washington, and former movie studio head Sherry Lansing who is now a philanthropist.
When on stage Gomez asked for continued growth in representation in the entertainment industry.
She was accepting the Equity in Entertainment Award.
'Equity and representation means ensuring that women, regardless of their background, have equal opportunities to share their stories and showcase their talents,' she began.
'It's about moving from tokenism to true inclusion, creating spaces where women of all races, sexual orientations and abilities are [welcome].'
She recalled when she was told it was amazing that a Latin girl was starring on Wizards of Waverly Place. It moved her.
'I really wasn't thinking about the importance of representation or the gravity of what those words meant,' Gomez remembered.
'But I knew that I was very grateful, and I wanted to do my best to live up to that, whatever form it looked like.'
She said young girls need to see themselves as heroes because it inspires them.

'We are now seeing more authentic, powerful stories about who we are, where we come from and what we're capable of accomplishing,' she continued. 'I am sure we all can agree that while we're getting there, we're not all the way done.'
Gomez then talked Emilia Pérez, which has several Hispanic women in it: 'Our voices are not only heard but represented truthfully.'
And it creates opportunities for people to see themselves.
'When we give people the platform to tell their stories, we not only deepen our understanding for one another, we open doors of what's possible,' Gomez said.
'That's why I've been so committed to my advocacy — from mental health, Lupus awareness or encouraging young people to embrace the strength that comes from being vulnerable and sharing your story.'
She concluded, 'Together, we can break down barriers, amplify women's voices and create a future where everyone's stories are told.'

Shannon introduced Selena, noting that not only has she changed the entertainment landscape but also used her voice to 'change the world for the better.'
'Yes, she's an incredibly talented actress, a multi-platinum, Grammy-nominated recording artist and a history-making producer,' Shannon said.
'But more than that, someone who genuinely cares about people and the world around her. She uses her platform to make a real, lasting impact.'
She mentioned Selena's dedication to mental health, as well as Lupus research, UNICEF, Make-A-Wish.
'Her advocacy work has transcended the entertainment world, as she uses her voice to speak out for those who need it most,' Shannon continued.
'She is a role model, not just because of her immense talent and success, but because of the way she uses her influence to empower others. She challenges the status quo and creates a more inclusive, compassionate world for all.'
This comes after Gomez said she doesn't 'need anyone's approval'.
Asked if the reaction has been overwhelming, the brunette beauty told 'CBS Sunday Morning': 'Sure. Maybe ... It's not that I really need anyone's approval. I think I'm just really, I'm okay with where I am and who I am. And I'm glad. I'm glad that I finally got there.'
Selena has also enjoyed huge success with the TV show 'Only Murders in the Building', and the actress has relished working alongside comedy veterans Steve Martin and Martin Short.
Selena - who plays Mabel Mora on the mystery comedy-drama series - said: 'These men, Steve and Martin, have been working longer than I've been alive, but they are the first ones to be on set. They take time to ask everyone they run into how their day is. And on top of it, they think everything through.
