Dude looks like a… Edwardian bather: Steven Tyler steps back in time as he sports retro shorts on the beach
He was celebrating turning a year older with a trip to the beach in Hawaii.
But when it came to his attire, Steven Tyler appeared to be taking a step back in time.
The 64-year-old rock star looked like he was taking inspiration from Edwardian bathers in his cream shorts with red stripes.

The retro shorts, which looked like old-fashioned men’s swimwear, were mismatched to the rest of the former Aerosmith frontman’s outfit.
He wore a white tank top with rainbow-coloured detailing, a beaded necklace and a wide-rimmed brown straw hat.
And the American Idol judge was certainly taking a very modern approach when it came to his beauty choices.

Steven was showing off quirky blue nail varnish on his fingers and toes, which appeared to curl over each other. His feet were clad in green and black sandals.
The star was seen taking a stroll on the beach in Wailea, Maui, on the morning of his 64th birthday.
He rang in his special day with a celebratory dinner the night before with his daughter, actress Liv Tyler, and his fiancée Erin Brady, as well as other family members.
The group was spotted arriving at the famous Momma's Fish House restaurant on Maui’s North Shore.
Steven is a familiar face in Hawaii. He owns an ocean-edge $4.8m house on Maui, which is located on a nature reserve.

The stunning home, which is situated over 3,000 sq ft of land, is shaped like a pentangle and featured two bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathrooms.
