Lisa Vanderpump armed herself with a pair of killer high heels as she prepared to do battle with bureaucrats at the local council on Tuesday.
Caught up in copious amounts of red tape as she prepares to open aptly titled gay bar P.U.M.P. in West Hollywood, the Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills favourite began her day with a calming spot
of retail therapy before heading to her meeting.
The 53-year-old was joined by her business partner husband of 31 years, Ken Todd, as they hit up high-end department store Barneys New York in Beverly Hills.

The star looked smart as always dressed in jeans, a pale pink top, black blazer and pink patterned silk scarf, which she teamed with the towering black leather Christian Louboutin boots featuring a tan heel with gold studded detail.
A huge black suede YSL handbag with gold chain strap detail took pride of place on her shoulder, while she carried her cell phone in her hand which featured a case in her signature colour: pink.
She wore her long chestnut locks down in a
sleek style and her make-up perfectly applied, with soft pink shadow and lips to complement
her outfit.
Pearl cluster earrings and a bright fuchsia manicure completed her ensemble.
Ken was also suitably dressed up for the meeting, in dark jeans, deep grey shoes and
a pale blue shirt worn over a matching T-shirt, which was rolled up at the sleeves.

'Anyway, positive thoughts off to work in my endless battle with WEHO city council at
11 am this morning...#frustrated,' the savvy businesswoman tweeted during her outing.
'Yep in six months of mud slinging that's my first response..just two lil words.."I did" And that's quite enough from me so I will shut up,' she added of the ongoing drama.
The couple are currently overseeing extensive renovations on the site of the new establishment on Santa Monica Boulevard, which is situated just around the corner from their popular SUR bar and restaurant.

All going well, P.U.M.P. will hopefully open later this year.
Despite the obviously stressful time, the pair did manage to get away from it all as they headed up to Santa Barbara on Sunday for the wedding of The Bachelor success story Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici, which was televised live on ABC.
Lisa met the newly-engaged couple when she and Sean competed against one another on season 16 of Dancing With The Stars early last year.
