It's as if she took style inspiration from a safety cone on Sunday.
Meg Ryan covered up her blonde locks with a tall bright orange L.A.M.B. beanie cap resembling the cautionary symbol, as she braved the winter weather to run errands in New York's Soho neighbourhood.
The 53-year-old actress toned down her flashy accessory by going make-up free while shielding her eyes with oval-shaped metal-rimmed sunglasses.

And the Sleepless In Seattle star was certainly prepared for her brisk outing, bundled up in a black long down jacket, thick black scarf, and cosy black trousers which she tucked into black boots.
Meg opted to carry a matching crossbody bag, leaving her arms free to hold her purchases.
The mother-of-two seemed to have made a stop at Dean & Deluca gourmet grocer and Sephora, a beauty retailer.

Meanwhile, it appears that Meg's 22-year-old son Jack Quaid, who she had during her marriage to actor Dennis Quaid (1991-2001), continues to follow in her footsteps and will be seen in forthcoming film Ithaca.
The comedy will see the budding actor in a role that is not much of a stretch for him - as Meg's son.
Meg's former co-star Tom Hanks will also appear in the movie, due for a release on December 31.
The coming-of-age story, directed by the When Harry Met Sally actress, is based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning author William Saroyan's 1943 novel, The Human Comedy.

The blonde beauty also has new developments off-screen, as her rocker boyfriend John Mellencamp might propose, Closer previously reported.
The couple began dating in 2010, but split over the summer last year.
An insider told the weekly that distance was the reason behind the split, but the 63-year-old reconciled with the actress months later.
