Turning to her co-star, who was also being interviewed, Sam Claflin, she said: 'Sam has seen me first thing in the morning – he can vouch for that!'
Lorraine also asked her about red carpet events, part and parcel of being a film star.
'We get to tell stories and pretend to be other people [as actors]. But dressing up and going to red carpets is a fantasy as well. It’s make believe. To stay normal you need to know its pretend,' she theorised.
Lorraine mentioned to the actress - who is married to Daniel Craig - that she happens to have James Bond as a husband.

Sam, 30, spoke about My Cousin Rachel: 'The ambiguity of the script is what I loved. My character [Philip] is a naïve young man. The beautiful thing is that you usually see a boy turning into a man.

Sam also spoke of the pressures that men face, as well as women, in the spotlight.
