Before engaging with Test IO, an EPAM company, Occhio had not explored integrating crowdtesting into its development and quality engineering and was keen to understand the potential benefits of such an integration. Occhio's goal was to leverage crowd solutions to identify and resolve potential quality issues that might impact online customer satisfaction and brand reputation.

Founded in Germany in 1999, Occhio has grown into an international name in the retail industry for its commitment to exceptional design and superior quality lighting products. Facing the challenge of maintaining high-quality customer experiences across iOS, Android, and desktop devices, Occhio was curious about quality solutions that could keep pace with its development but without sacrificing testing precision and scope. Occhio sought a partnership with EPAM to run a pilot that employed Test IO’s crowdtesting solutions, aiming to leverage the on-demand testing expertise, diversity of perspectives and real-world testing environments that Test IO delivers.

Working together, Occhio and Test IO defined the scope of the pilot: identify and prioritize bugs across different devices and explore smooth integration of Test IO’s testing services into Occhio’s existing workflows, which included JIRA and Slack integrations.
