Step one: Background to the movement
The community of Rajagriha was one of the ancient places in the land of Magadha, in this community there was a boy, called soldier
. He was not an ordinary boy since he was in charged of guiding and entrusting the laws of the land. my humble friend
said the rich man, I admire your duties and your enthusiastic nature toward the locals, but what have you to show for this great commitment of yours? The boy was not quite following the rich man,
sir, are you referring to my pocket level,
yes said the rich man
tell me about it
it has been roaming in my mind, but I cannot charge more to this, I have such love and respect to the community, the elders treat me with respect and admiration, can I put more to this? It will only ruin my position and calling of a soldier" I admire your mental charisma, what about the material side to life? Enjoy the gains of your toil; there is more to mental admiration with such mogul. The rich man took his leave and the boy was thinking about his philosophy.
This day cannot get any better
said the boy reflecting, as the rich man finally vanished with his servants from light, such a wealthy man
and yet no understanding to love he thought,
but it was better to have than to have not maybe I am not asking a better wage for my duties
this must be looked upon with greater value
he opened his tent and went in for a fifteen minute break, knock, knock, a sound came it was a lovely one and he liked it. Good Sir
said the female voice, "I am the daughter of the chief priest, noticing your kind gesture,
I brought you this basket of glad tidings.
What an honor the boy replied, rushing to the basket.
You look new to me said the boy, are you sure your father is the chief priest?
Positively she answered,
but I was away, to a faraway land for my expedition she said smiling at the boy, who was busy, looking inside the basket of glad tidings.
Expedition, what was that for? The boy asked her joyfully, my father wanted me to travel and see what life and beliefs where out there
answered the girl, good for you, and did you study anything?
Obviously she replied, What about you? Have you traveled before to a distant land?
No, my dreams of travelling to the outside world was never materialized
why so the girl asked enthusiastically.
I never managed to raise money for my trip
that is quite unfair answered the girl;
you still have all the time to set for an adventure
most definitely; my only concern is to the people here
you are most honorable, as a soldier". She said smiling.
I would like to assist the people, so I undertook my father’s command to travel and study the great wisdom of the outside world, my father wished me to become his successor as Chief priest
it is a great endeavor, but do you love his wish? The boy asked,
not to be a priest, but in other ways I would be happier she answered.
You think well, love can be shared in many ways, so it will be the same as assisting them no matter the means, what do you think? The boy asked, true, I have not displayed any worries to my father, I am just being honest with you.
at first I dreamed of becoming a warrior, like king David, but my father said all I needed was to focused the girl looked at him with a sense of regret,
where is your father? She asked him, My father and mother are in the world beyond
oh my, I am sorry to know that
she said." That is fine, it happened a while back.
The boy thought of telling the girl about his personal companion, then he realized it will be a lot of details shared in their first encounter so he moved on without saying a word, I have to go now
the girl said, why
the boy asked her, my father would be looking for me now, I promised him to study today
study, what kind of stuff do you all study?
Prayers and proverbs usually she answered.
I enjoyed sharing with you today she said and took off to her father’s arena
The rest of the day went on well; the children were playing and doing their métiers, there was no churl, the boy was happy it was time for home, he took his belongings from his tent and left happily with ideas for the old man. Arriving home, the old man was standing at his fence like always neatly dressed and holding his cane on the right hand.
Welcome back the old man shouted, what news have you brought back home?
My dearest old
