Dez Del Rio was born in Beaumont, Texas on December 18th. A professional musician (guitar player) since age 18 he moved to Austin, Texas in 1980 and was part of the early 80's punk rock music scene that solidified that cities reputation as a Mecca for live music. In 1984 he moved to San Francisco, California to continue his career in music and there began his career as a writer. His first novel, "The Lipstick Killerz" was published on August 27, 2010.
