I love writing because for just a few precious hours, I get to make you laugh, smile, sit glued to the edge of your seat, and even cry. I've even made my wife call my mother to complain about the way I ended one of my books on a cliffhanger. I get to entertain you in the world I've created just for you. And if you put down one of my books after you've read the last words and smile, wishing there was more, then you've given me all the reward I need as an author.

I have a day job as Chief Imaginator at Imagin8, a tech company I founded a long time before I published my first novel.

To date I've written 4 novels in three different genres - Fantasy, Crime/Thriller, and Comedy/Suspense. If you have one of my books on your reading list, do yoursel

I wrote a little piece about this in my Entrepreneurs Ask Adam newsletter (Edition #3) which you can find on my blog. Writers block feels like lack of inspiration, but it's also explained by Neuroscience, particularly in the works of David Rock. When you try to think of a solution to a problem so much you end up thwarting your own efforts. Drop your pen, leave the room, change the scenery, play golf, go for a walk, draw, paint - anything that relaxes your mind. The less you try to force an answer, the more easily one bubbles to the surface. (less)

So many people tell me they've always wanted to write a book, and the one question almost everybody asks me is "where do you find the time to write?"

If you look at what I do in an average week, it's a lot. I run Imagin8, and I cater to the needs of every one of my 1000 customers. I lecture on Entrepreneurship. And I write in my spare time.

The answer to the question is, "you don't find time to write, you make it."

If you really want to do something, you'll find a way. If you really want to write, make time to write. And don't let anybody put you down. Write till its finished, and then put your work in the hands of your audience. (less)

Life, Business & Coffee #23: Leadership, BBG and Recovering

I bumped into a number of people during the last two weeks, and all of them mentioned that I’ve been noticeable by the absence of my newsletter, so here, one last time before the end of 2017, is the last Life, Business and Coffee for 2017, and it contains some great money saving offers at the end, just for you.

I hope this finds you well.

“Reality TV... The curse of the twenty-first century. Why were people so fascinated by being spectators to other people's lives? Watching people bake cakes, build tree houses, or just invading rich families' living rooms. It was like watching a soap opera without the plot.”
Adam Rabinowitz, Garage Band

“Well, it's about time you started smiling. You've been a miserable so-and-so for long enough.”
Adam Rabinowitz, Garage Band

“...feeling again that sensation of being completely invisible in a room full of people; a feeling he had come to loath.”
Adam Rabinowitz, Garage Band
