I just came across this series as Audible has the whole series on for $4.95 per book for a few days. I bought the first 2 but don't know if I should buy them all. Here's the questions: is it mainly romance? Do characters recur or is it new protagonist(s) each book? If it's pure romance and new characters I probably don't need more than 2.

I can't make it through this book - I hate the basically sexual assault at the beginning. Is it worth it to push through? Is the rest of the series worth it? Can I just skip to another book?

There are lots of other paranormal romance novels out there that do not have sexual assault themes that are great fun to read. I would suggest J.R. Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood or Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark-Hunter series.(less)
