Canyar asked:

The Concrete Blonde had me very uncomfortable because it dealt in detail with the prostitution world. How is The Last Coyote? I know Harry's mother was a prostitute, are there (m)any sexual descriptions, active prostitutes he has to interview/investigate, things like that? Thanks!

Jim O'Donnell The Last Coyote contains very little or no explicit detail of sex work or violence. There is some background info on the life his mother led, and some evidence review that recounts past events as they may have transpired, but that's about it.
Ladyhawk This Bosch story was excellent! I did read Concrete Blond. Because of the subject matter, it was more explicit than the Last Coyote!! Harry does not interview or even delve into interviewing prostitutes. The story line is more Harry discovering the active players at the time of his mother's murder, attempting to locate and interview them.
