'So Wild' is a classic, enemies-to-lovers romance with a whole lot of lust, love and passion thrown in. And trademark Eve Dangerfield humor!
Scott and Samantha grew up next door to each other. They spent years pranking each other but then Scott left Australia for London. Now he is back and they are all grown up. Scott is a businessperson and Samantha is as Bohemian as ever but is now in charge of her family's tattoo shop. Classic case of opposites attract!
"She was passion itself, wrapped in an insanely gorgeous body. She'd been that way from the moment he'd seen her. Fearless. Wild."
If you have ever read any Eve Dangerfield then you know she is FILTHY. Like, really erotic romance with lots of humor. Always humor. And so both Scott and Sam can't believe they are still so attracted to each other even after all these years. They both are hilarious! Sometimes unintentionally so.
"The fucking boy next door, who knew he was such a good kisser?"
This book is not as kinky as some of Ms. Dangerfield's other books but there's still plenty to go around here. And as always, the author's characters have real insecurities and issues which they must work out together. Sam has trust issues which Scott is more than happy to help her with.
The tattoo shop plays a central role in this book and Sam's sisters will each get their own story. This is a lively, hot, funny and ultimately romantic story that was really fun to read. I ADORE Ms. Dangerfield's brand of humor and thoroughly enjoyed Scott and Sam's story!

MY NEW FAVORITE SERIES! I’ve heard SO much about these books but I just devoured ‘The Boss’ (WHICH IS FREE RIGHT NOW) and I don’t even know where to begin.
Abigail Barnette is the pen name for Jenny Trout, who writes a hilarious blog and also writes books under the name of Jennifer Armintrout. But I digress. Back to the book, which is all adult, erotic, funny and real. If you liked FSOG, or even mildly cared about the story at all, the you will LOVE ‘The Boss.’
Although the plot sounds like a familiar one, the author grabbed me from the first page. Sophie works in magazine publishing for a cut-throat boss whom everyone is in fear of. The magazine is suddenly taken over by the much older, sexy Brit Neil Elwood. Sophie now has a new boss. But Sophie and Neil have met before. They spent an unforgettable, no-holds-barred night together six years prior during a layover at LAX. Sophie’s life took a different turn after that night, and she has never forgotten Neil. But he doesn’t even seem to remember her.
“The woman I had thought of as a mentor apparently thought of me as office furniture. The man I’d compared every potential lover to for the past six years didn’t remember having sex with me. And judging by the fact that he couldn’t even remember my name, my job was looking more temporary by the second.”
I LOVED that the characters are genuine people with deep flaws. Sophie struggles with her job and has a messy personal life. She is only 24 in the book and there is a large age gap between the characters but it is sexy and it WORKS. Oh, and Neil is heavy into BDSM which makes for a VERY spicy story.
“Why should it bother you?” His mouth slipped down to the curve of my calf, his hand squeezing and stroking there.
“Because I’m not supposed to like being told what to do by some man.” I took a shuddering breath. He raised his head and looked me in the eye.
“I think you and I are alike in that we don’t worry about what we’re suppose to do. Within reason.”
Sophie is very open and honest and isn’t ashamed of her sexuality. At first she and Neil agree to a causal sexual relationship but they both soon realize that they have a very intense connection. This is very adult erotica so the scenes literally burn up the pages.
And Neil. OMG. In one of my favorite moments, he tells Sophie, “As casual as we may be about it, this is still a relationship. I don’t ever want you to feel used or objectified. I care about you and your feelings, Sophie.”
‘The Boss’ is a smart and sexy book for grown-ups and explores real-life issues. Neil has issues with this family and Sophie’s first meeting with his adult daughter does not go well. This couple will have a long road ahead of them to get to their HEA and I can’t wait to binge-read this entire series! I think it is fair to say that ‘The Boss’ ends with a pretty major cliffhanger but the series is complete so you can move on to the next book immediately. AND ‘THE BOSS’ iS FREE!! What are you waiting for?
“Your trust in me, your ability to surrender totally and give yourself to me freely… That’s the payoff for me, Sophie. It’s an aphrodisiac.”...more

Fans of Kristen Ashley will delight in this very hot, very touching and very romantic collection of short stories!
We have a short visit with one of my all-time FAVORITE KA couples, Joe and Vi from At Peace. I will never tire of reading about them and this sweet, romantic story will thrill fans of The Burg series. Another reason I love Kristen Ashley? Older couples still have all the passion and fire of her younger couples. Y A Y for older married couples!!
The next novella is about Hap and Luce an honestly this could have been its own book. KA must have SO many stories rattling around in her vivid imagination and I am so glad she put this one on paper! This is a very poignant story that is pure KA.
"You were a good boy who would grow into a good man, that coming from what was inside you that she knew was there and they nurtured.” SOBS!!
I was so excited to re-visit Deacon and Cassidy in The Favor. Deacon is still one of my favorite Alphas and the Unfinished Heroes series is NOT to be missed!! Kristen Ashley sets the bar for Alpha males. This sweet story gave me all the feels.
“You’re it, Deacon. You’re the reason I breathe/. You’re my husband. I was put on this earth for you. I can’t exist on this earth without you.”
Get ready for some MAJOR heat because More Than Everything is NSFW and will take your breath away!! Please heed the author's note about this scorching novella because this might be one of the most graphic and erotic stories I've ever read. This is Diesel, Maddox and Molly's story from the Honey Series and it is a beautiful story about love, commitment and acceptance. Be aware that this is a m/m/f relationship so if that is not your jam, then you probably won't love this one.
“You are our world. We can endure anything, as long as we do it as our three."
Finally, there is a cute standalone story called Tell Me What You Want which I thoroughly enjoyed, as well as a sweet visit with Tod and Stevie in Rock Chick Renewal.
SO. A lot to take in, no? Once again, Kristen Ashley delivers a very full contemporary romance reading experience, and I hope she plans to write more of these anthologies in the future!...more

I literally laughed my way through this fun, sweet, SEXXXY andNot sure I’ve read a dirtier or funnier book! Loved it! This writing duo can’t be beat.
I literally laughed my way through this fun, sweet, SEXXXY and warm-hearted story from beginning to end. Autumn is an Australian living in New York City. She followed her former boyfriend there as he tried to chase his dreams of becoming an improv comedian. They break up and she plans to move back home once her work visa expires.
Except that she has some serious fantasies about her big, silent, brooding beast of a landlord. Blake stays cooped up in his apartment and hates people. He is the complete opposite of Autumn: she is funny and outgoing and genuinely likes helping people while he is quiet and can't be bothered having a civil conversation with anyone. In other words, he is a swoony, sexy hero and he wants to do very bad things to Autumn! Oh, and did mention he also restores old books? Yep. The perfect hero.
Blake’s limp, combined with his abnormal size, made navigating the cluttered apartment difficult. He’d watched in stunned silence, though, as Autumn moved gracefully in front of him, toeing items out of his path, silently making things easier for him. Caring for a stranger without thinking, or asking to be acknowledged. It had annoyed the living shit out of him. Where did this girl get off giving him the assistance he didn’t ask for?
In one of the most awkward introductions ever, Autumn accidentally writes a note to Blake on the back of a porno drawing she created featuring herself and...Blake! The drawing illustrates her deepest fantasies and once Blake sees it, he cannot stop thinking about Autumn.
She turned to him, her eyes the size of hubcaps. “I’m having a Beauty and The Beast moment.” “I suppose that makes me the beast.”
“No.” Autumn laid a hand on Blake’s arm and he held his breath. “No, of course not,” she said. “You’re actually… that is to say… I don’t just go drawing myself tied up for any old landlord, you know?”
Turns out they both share the same fantasy but before they begin their role play, Blake asks to take Autumn on three regular dates so they can get to know each other. He does not want to scare her - his size alone is intimidating! - and so begins the sexy times.
He pulled her flush against him and it was unlike anything she’d ever felt before. Ian was taller than her, pretty much everyone was taller than her, but Blake was enormous. Being held by him was like being held in a cage, a gentle, living cage. With another man it might have felt oppressive, but as Blake kissed her deeply, all she felt was warm and safe and turned the fuck on.
Everything in this book is 100% consensual. I loved the premise of this book and I ADORED Autumn! Funny, smart and exuberant, she was a true original. And Blake: damaged, smart and sexy, he is one of the sexiest heroes ever created by Ms. Tessa Bailey! These two authors tougher are pure gold.
As she drank her drink in that same companionable silence, she realized it didn’t matter because what he said paled in contrast to what he did. He’d taken her to a five-star restaurant, asked her about comedy and come to her workplace to apologize for being a cocklord in person. Those things talked. They said he thought she was special, interesting and worthy of his time. Their sex spoke, too. The connection between their bodies was so fluent, it could have served as a UN interpreter.
'Captivated' is a totally kinky but very sweet book that was an absolute pleasure to read! If you aren't familiar with Eve Dangerfield, give her books a try. They are fantastic.
Love isn’t just saying words, Autumn thought. What we feel is real....more

“He was a badass biker who lived life wild, took it by the throat, and shoved aside anything he didn’t want in it.”
YES!!!! HOUND!!! ‘Wild Like the Wind’ is a gritty and VERY sexy trip back to the world of Chaos. Loved it!!!
The Chaos books do something for me and I can't quite put my finger on it. The men and women of Chaos have all suffered, lived full lives and love with all their hearts. There are no false moments or easy paths here. In fact, Kelly and Hound take YEARS to get together and even when they do, they must pay dearly.
"It was great, babe. Fantastic. Fucking spectacular. But it’s a one-time thing. I’ll bring you your checks. You got me. You’ll never lose me. Your boys are so deep in my heart I’d take a bullet for them. But this, what we did, is done. You with me?”
Keely lost her husband years before and the Club has always taken care of her. But there is one cardinal rule of the brotherhood: never, ever be with another brother's wife. Hound is a loyal member and he absolutely will not go against his brothers. This tension makes for lots of heartbreak and emotion and forms the backbone of this book.
“Fuck me, that was a huge fuckup,” he muttered into his palms. This was true. It was also the best four hours of his life. Bar none.
Nothing happens quickly in the world of Kristen Ashley which is one of the reasons why I love her writing so much. Each page, each chapter of her books is meant to be savored and enjoyed. And 'Wild Like the Wind' is a a satisfying, rich and very sexy story that encompasses tons of emotion and has tons of action.
This book is filled with some surprises which even for a seasoned Kristen Ashley reader will be totally enjoyable. All of the characters that I love from Chaos are here plus some new ones. And I loved the way Keely's sons are also made a central part of the story. Hound's relationship with them is just beautiful. I am not sure there is a more loyal or loving man than Hound. Does he screw up? Yes. But I cried when reading his scenes with Keely, Jean, Keely's boys and even the Chaos brothers.
I did think the Valenzuela storyline could be wrapped up a little more quickly but that is just my opinion. This story captured my heart. Hound so deserved to be happy. And of course in true Kristen Ashley style, these characters are not 20-somethings. They are adults who have lived life, suffered, and loved hard.
The scenes between Keely and Hound literally burn up the page and the brutal world of MC life is not glossed over here. Chaos remains one of my favorite series and I LOVED this story. Don't miss it!!

And 'The Hookup' will pI am the first to admit that I will read everything Kristen Ashley writes. No, I will DEVOUR everything Kristen Ashley writes! And 'The Hookup' will please her hardcore fans with Johnny and Izzy and their super-HOT and yes sweet romance.
I LOVE when the protagonists sleep together right at the beginning and THEN get to know each other. In classic Kristen Ashley fashion, Eliza Forrester goes home with Johnny Gamble after a few drinks. And yes, Johnny knocks her socks off but Izzy has never had a one-night stand! What should she do? How should she act? She is the quintessential "good girl" so this is just not something that she EVER does. And oh boy are things ever awkward!
“Babe, why’d you put on your panties?” I blinked up at him. His fingers slid inside the waistband to lightly cup one cheek of my behind. My lips parted. “Sweet, shy Eliza,” he muttered like he was referencing me to someone else even if he was gazing right into my eyes. “Gonna have to break you of that.” Yes. Oh God, please let it be yes.
One of the things I adore about KA is her heroines are not 19 years old. They are WOMEN with full lives, loyal friends and yes, maybe some baggage. Izzy had a tragic childhood but through sheer will and determination, created a beautiful life for herself. She is well-educated and has a wonderful job. Was she warned to stay away from Johnny? Of course! But how could she possibly resist this electric and uber-sexy man?
“I only know him in passing too, but I still know he’s that guy. The kind you can’t help but like. He’s solid. Dependable. From good people. His brother took off before Charlie and I got to town and I heard he’s a bit of a wild one. But I knew the man, and Johnny Gamble’s dad was like that too. Those men are men who fix your car even if you can’t afford it and let you make payments that won’t bite too deep. "
Johnny has distanced himself from relationships and women ever since his heart was smashed into bits by his girlfriend. He was completely wrecked. He is a hard worker and a good businessman. He, too, has built a wonderful life for himself. But the heartbreaking drama with his ex is all everyone talks about and it's why Izzy just knows that Johnny will never truly care for her. What they have is just sex, right? But Johnny actually likes Izzy which of course makes for some truly heart stopping moments.
Johnny makes some very stupid decisions which are really the basis for most of the drama in this book. I think the blurb might throw off some readers into thinking this book is about a love triangle but that's definitely NOT what this romance is about! At all. Johnny realizes he better get his act together and that Izzy is not like his ex-girlfriend. She is loyal and smart and the real deal. Thank God Izzy has her sister Addie to rely on to help get her though the impending heartbreak.
My heart ached for Izzy as she realized she was falling for Johnny. Despite all the hot and dirty sex they were having, Johnny still kept her at arm's length. There was plenty of sex but zero intimacy. Izzy gave her heart to Johnny because that's all she knew how to do and he handed it back to her on a platter.
“I’ve never been in love,” I shared quietly. “Avoid it,” he advised resolutely. “It sucks.” And again… There we were.
I cried a little during 'The Hookup' as I do during most of KA's books! I also adored the small-town setting and the all of the locals. And Johnny Gamble might be one of THE most Alpha of Alphas. Over-the-top possessive, sexy, masculine but kind and strong, he is everything I want in a Kristen Ashley hero. There's plenty of suspense and action and a wonderfully warm cast of supporting characters, too. Fans of Kristen Ashley will eat this one up. It's a classic!

WELL, HELLO!! Welcome to the judgment-free zone! If you are just the tiniest bit curious about the DDlg genre (that's "Daddy Dom/little girl"), then please enjoy this absolutely delicious confection by Brianna Hale. I read this book in a few hours and it was one of the most heart-warming, sexy, taboo and romantic stories I've ever read.
Abby is a young dancer who comes alive when onstage. She can barely cope with the realities of day-to-day life, but feels completely at ease when she is dancing at the Palais Theatre. Still living with her parents, she is shy, innocent and very inexperienced.
When I’m onstage, and all there is, is the music and the sweet burn of exertion and the glare of the hot lights, I’m me.
Imagine Abby's surprise (and delight!) when the handsome, stern and very bossy theatre owner Rufus Kingsolver takes an interest in her.
Oh boy. Mr. Kingsolver. He is good at reading people and he knows just what Abby needs. This book should come with a warning label because it is that hot. Abby finally feels that someone understands her and all of her odd habits. She acts like a little girl in many ways, because it soothes and comforts her, and she is PERFECT for Rufus!
"It's such a relief to know that there are other people like me. I'm not strange, or weird, or stupid.
THIS BOOK. I loved it! I thoroughly enjoyed every word. Please pay attention to book description and if it turns you off, do not read this. But if you love a hot, quick read, this is the book for you. I was fascinated by the Daddy Dom world and also the way in which Abby grew as a person over the course of the story.
He strokes his thumb over my cheek and it comes away glittery. I’m dropping glitter all over him. “I missed you, little one.”
“I’m so sorry I caused us so much pain and I said Persephone and I wasn’t brave enough.”
“You’re the bravest person I know, babygirl. Look at all that you’ve done.” He pulls a tissue out of his pocket and wipes my tears, and then puts it over my nose. “Blow.” I do. The tissue comes away glittery, too.
“I’m getting glitter all over you,” I say with a shaky laugh.
He presses his forehead against mine. “Please get glitter all over me,” he whispers. “Drown me in it.”
There are BDSM elements in this story but it is surprisingly romantic and tender. I loved it so much that I am diving right into the next book by Ms. Hale, Princess Brat. Because sometimes you just need to escape with a few hours of fun, sexy fantasy!

OMG this is one of THE funniest and absolutely dirtiest books I've ever read! Eve Dangerfield has a fresh and VERY unique voice and I adored this story.
“You’re stunning,” he said, eyeing her up and down. His irises weren’t watery blue like most redheads, but a warm caramel brown. Ash’s lady areas tingled, as though they too craved a cigarette.
“Thanks.”
Can I keep this review clean? Hard to do, based on how naughty this book is. Ashley is a hard-working nurse who has THE worst taste in men and decides she is finished with boyfriends. What she wants is a baby and a good sperm donor. A former model, Ash was a party girl but has always been sensitive about her lower-class background and loser parents. Raised by her grandmother, she and her sister Julia are best friends and share everything.
Julia's boyfriend Max has a gorgeous red-headed roommate named Dean. A big lovable bear of a man, Dean has coasted through life but when he meets Ash, that's IT for him. And Ash feels the same. A ginger? No way!
He wasn’t a pretty boy, his nose was crooked and his grin lopsided, but he had that square-jawed, salt-of-the-earth handsome look that made a girl think of loose-hipped cowboys and demanding Scottish Lairds. And speaking of Scottish Lairds, old mate was a redhead. Usually gingers weren’t her scene but this guy’s hair was the rich coppery-auburn of a fox's pelt. It gleamed like rose gold under the floodlights, his short beard the exact colour as the stuff on his head. Big Red was doing it for her. Big time. And apparently, the feeling was mutual."
Dean is one of the most original MC's I've ever had the pleasure of reading. Sensitive, kind, loving, he wears his heart on his sleeve. Trouble is, he has a tiny little problem focusing and drifts off right in the middle of a thought. Ash wants to use him but he wants more from her! What a fun change of pace from the usual contemporary romance books I read.
“You women, always trying to rush straight to sex. Whatever happened to romance?”
Dean and Ash were perfect together. There's tons of Australian slang and references in this book but they did not distract from the story. Between the 'Princess Bride' references, the Tessa Bailey mention and the hilarious and STEAMY sex scenes, this book was a win for me. The dialogue crackles and the characters are all well-written and so REAL. I can't put my finger on what makes a book work for me, but 'Open Hearts' has "it." I couldn't book this book down! Filled with heat, heart and humor, 'Open Hearts' is one of my favorite books this year.
Favorite quotes:
"He had to be six-four or five, lean, but beefy everywhere it counted. How would all that weight feel bearing down on her? She imagined his handsome face screwed up in pleasure as he pounded away at her practically revirginized p---y. Everything below her belly button tightened."
"They’d tried to diagnose him but there was no apparent medical explanation for his behaviour. He was just what his mum called ‘away with the fairies’ and Max called ‘a bit of a lost c--t.’"
"You’re my dream girl, Ash. No one even comes close."

“Baby, the path I’ve walked to get to you? I’m never going back.”
HOLY MOLY!! If you don't have Brynne Asher on your radar, you need to read her books ASAP!! 'Paths' is the second book in the Killers series but it can be read as a standalone without missing anything but I HIGHLY recommend the first book in this series. And I think Grady Cain has now zoomed to the top of my list of favorite book boyfriends!! Ex-military, uber-protective, bossy, smart and funny...perfection!!
Grady has his eyes on Maya, a server at the local winery. She's a beauty, very athletic and hardworking but very mysterious. She is hiding out from an ex-fiancée and is trying to fly under the radar. She is a physical therapist but is working both as a waitress and as the activities director at a retirement home.
Grady and Maya dance around each other at first, even though she has been eyeing him as well. Reluctant to jump into another relationship, she tries to keep her distance but senses that Grady is a keeper. Grady gives Maya space at first but he is drawn to her quiet beauty and strength, once once he learns of her past, well, there was no stopping him from doing whatever it takes to keep Maya safe. Mixed in with the romance and suspense is just enough humor to keep the tone realistic and light.
Right after I take his order, I resume spying on him from the backroom. And I’ve spied enough that, even to myself, I’m reaching creeper status. Ugh. Creepers are weird and I’m becoming one.
Oh and the sexy times in this book are simply delicious!! Two words: Grady Cain. Grady and Maya's chemistry is perfect. This is some heart-pounding stuff, y'all, and it really doesn't get any better than this.
"Don’t worry, you told me everything important—other than the fact you played the flute.”
I can’t keep the grin off my face.
“This means you’re good with your mouth. Bonus.”
Grady is careful not to move too fast but when it looks like Maya's past is going to catch up to her, Grady lets her know he'll stop at nothing to keep her safe. *Swoon.* Maya sees a loneliness in Grady and when he finally opens up to her, it is magic!!
I lose my smile and mean it when I say, “Don’t call me a carrot cake. That’s rude.”
She grins broadly, taking a step back and throws her arms out low. “How about zucchini bread?”
“Now you’re just being cruel.” I move closer, making her take a few steps backward up her small porch.
'Paths' is a swoony, sexxxy, fast-paced story that is filled with strong, Alpha males, small-town characters and strong, resilient women. What more cold you ask for? I am reluctant to make comparisons to the Queen of the Alpha Male, Kristen Ashley, but Brynne Asher writes some irresistible Alphas herself. Highly recommend this book and this series!
Favorite quotes:
“Do anything for you, Maya. You’ll never know how you saved me from myself. I was at my lowest, had no one."
“Even if I thought I knew before, now I know. Don’t want anyone else besides you for the rest of my days.”

If you like your happily-ever-after with a side of naughty, then this book is for you!! I love Nicola Rendell's breezy, snappy writing style and her sex scenes are NOT to believed!! Grab me a fan!!
Penny Darling is a small-town girl who has sworn off men (for now). She literally bumps into Russ at an airport and well let's just say things will never be the same! Russ is an ex-military man, all Alpha and appealing and sexy and irresistible. He is visiting Penny's sleepy little town for just a few days but finds Penny sweet, sexy and just his type.
“All I’m doing is negotiating. You’ve got something I want, and I plan to get it…Penny Darling.” But I don’t say it like a name. I say it like I mean it. Penny, darling.
Half the fun of reading this book is Penny's HILARIOUS inner monologue. Good Lord, this Russ is a man who knows what he wants and isn't shy about going after it! Penny quickly falls under his spell but Russ is keeping a secret from Penny.
Russ really is a good man, and he quickly falls for Penny. He lives in Boston but begins to fall in love with Penny's quirky small Florida town of Port Flamingo. I love the small-town romance trope but for me, some of the zany shenanigans here overshadowed the smoking hot relationship between Penny and Russ. I could not get enough of the scenes between these two!!
“I won’t hurt you until you tell me I can.” She gasps into her arm. “Where did you learn to talk like that?” “Not learned. It’s part of the package.” “I like the package,” she says, as I position myself at her opening. “You don’t know the package.”
The steamy-hot romance, the humor, the dialogue...all of this added up to a winner for me. The author must have a terrific sense of humor because it really shines through in her writing. Penny is a very relatable heroine, warm, loyal, down-to-earth and FUNNY. She knows she is falling fast for Russ but these two are clearly meant for each other. Russ is simply irresistible and makes it easy for Penny to fall in love with him.
"Here lies Penelope Darling, who died of a swoon."
Bravo to Ms. Rendell for writing a very adult, very explicit erotic romantic comedy. 'Just Like That' is a perfect book if you are looking for a swoony, SEXY and very, very hot read with two very relatable main characters. Loved the Epilogue and I'm really looking forward to more books from this incredibly talented author.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this series! While not a standalone, 'American Prince' is just as magical and enticing as the first book. Without giving too much away, this book is Embry's story. Bad-boy Embry, who grows up to become the Vice-President of the United States. But he has always felt unworthy, of love, friendship and trust.
"I grew up around power, around the kind of people who exercised authority with effortless ease, but I myself had spent most of my life dodging any and all responsibility. Consequences were something to be charmed and flirted out of, other people were worth only how much fun they could give me. I had next to no practice taking care of other people…I could barely keep myself out of trouble."
Poor Embry! He is selfless and misunderstood. I devoured this book and love how Sierra Simone reveals the real reasons why Embry acts the way he does. I loved reading his point of view of his relationship with Ash and with Greer. Yet another book by Ms. Simone that I could NOT put down!
“And if I ever thought Ash held all the power in their relationship, I see it clearly now. Embry holds my husband’s heart in his hands and he doesn’t even know it. He’s too busy looking at the details of Ash’s faces to see the expression, too busy being in love to see how loved he is.”
One of the things I love about this series is that there is no judgment from the author about the characters' choices or their lifestyle. They are just themselves. Always honest with other and always loving. Ms. Simone's great care in creating these characters is evident. This book ends on a cliffhanger but the final book will be released very soon so there's plenty of time to read this series before 'American King' comes out. This series is totally engaging and entertaining and I highly recommend it!!
“I’m done running from you,” I said honestly. “I tried and it didn’t matter—you haunted me everywhere I went.”
“And you haunted me,” he murmured, rolling over to press his lips against mine once more. “My little prince.”

Yes the plot is a little far-fetched but the characters are engaging and the sexy times are CRAZY-hot.
The title pretty much tells you what this book is all about. Chase is, well, a hot cop.
"There’s always a woman waiting in the wings for a hot cop like him. A flock of them, even. In a place like Kansas, he’s the closest thing we have to a rock star."
Livia is a librarian who is approaching 30. She wants children but not a relationship. So Chase agrees to be a sperm donor with no strings attached. That's pretty much it. What I liked about this story was the well-developed characters and the funny banter. And the "Kelley Trio" - yes, Officer Kelley!
Livia and Chase are insanely attracted to each other but both are extremely gun-shy about permanent relationships but they sure have loads of fun trying to make a baby!
“Megan, you never told me your brother was a hot.” Oh my God. I didn’t just say that.
But I totally did. My face is heated with embarrassment. “A cop! I meant a cop."
This is a fun, sexy story with a very low angst factor. If you are looking for a guilty pleasure to enjoy for a few fun hours, then this is the book for you! ...more

Sometimes you need a good old-fashioned romance to lose yourself in and Egomaniac is just the book! Vi Keeland once again shows her talent for writing a funny, sexy, tender-hearted romance that is creative, engaging and sweet.
I enjoyed every minute of this book. Emerie and Drew "meet cute" and I was drawn in from the very beginning. What separates Vi Keeland's romances from the rest of the books out there is the heated chemistry between her characters and their wonderful banter. Emerie is new in town and winds up renting space from Drew, an aggressive divorce attorney. He is a commitment-phobe, for very good reason. I loved the way the author slowly revealed his history and I absolutely adored his POV!! This book is literally laugh-out-loud funny.
"And I suppose all of your women are fast asleep after you take care of them.” “Damn straight. I’m like a superhero. The Prolactinator.”
Egomaniac is a super-sexy, very fast-paced read that has lots of warmth and heart. It is witty and smart and very addicting. I loved all of the secondary characters and I hope that at least one of them is getting their own story soon! I really enjoyed this book and look forward to reading many more stories from this very talented author.
“Maybe, just maybe, neither one of us had found the right one before now…because we hadn’t met each other yet.”

The first part oThis book started off as something else and then turned into a very adult, very erotic, very explicit romance that I really fell for.
The first part of the book begins in college with Sabrina falling for the bad boy Donovan. I will admit that the beginning of this book, which was released as a separate novella, did not really hold my interest. But when the book fast-forwards 10 years and Sabrina has moved to New York, WOW!! The Laurelin Paige that I know and love returned with a bang.
Sabrina is hired to work at the company run by Donovan and Weston. She is smart, driven and extremely competent. But yet she is still in many ways the insecure college student who felt out of her league with wealthy men like Donovan and Weston.
This book is EXTREMELY explicit and explores the taboo subject of rape fantasies. So if that is not your thing, then you will not like this story. But if you are a fan of rollercoaster emotions, then you will love this book.
Sabrina has always been obsessed with Donovan. But he is distant, cold, sarcastic. She and Weston have a fling, but she realizes that she still has deep feelings for Donovan, and cannot resist his allure.
"I don't want you to touch me like Weston," I said, once and for all. “I don't want Weston! I want you!” Donovan let loose the smallest hint of a smile. “I know. I was waiting for you to know too.”
Sabrina goes back and forth with her feelings for Donovan. He was downright cold to her BUT he is so hot, she cannot stay away. I felt that this book really picked up around the 40% mark and I would urge everyone to give this thrilling and extremely sexy story a try.
Why the 4 stars? I loved the absolutely electrifying chemistry between Sabrina and Donovan. The sexy times are off the charts. I did not love Sabrina's lack of self-esteem and her feelings of worthlessness. I hope in the next book she goes after what she wants. I found this book to be very engrossing, surprising and very, very adult. So that for me is a win.
I love these kind of books where the hero is damaged and unloveable yet becomes obsessed with the heroine. I hope we get Donovan's POV in the next book and I cannot wait for the conclusion to Sabrina and Donovan's story!!
"Were you even going to say goodbye?” I asked, pretending to balance accusation with acceptance when really I was hoping he’d say he’d changed his mind about going at all.
He smiled lazily. “I don’t know what you mean. I’m still here.”
“You’re just as much already gone.”
His face was in the shadows, but I could feel his expression sober even if I couldn’t see it. “I’m less gone than you’d imagine.”

"This was supposed to be my fairy tale, with me as the princess and Ash as the prince, but there’s a third person here, a person we both want and who wants both of us."
OMG I floved this book!! Can't wait to read 'American Prince. '
Those were my very first thoughts after finishing this book. It was sitting on my Kindle for a long time and I'll admit I kept looking at it, thinking, "What is this? Queen? Another royalty book? What?" BUT once I started I couldn't stop! Ash, Embry and Greer's story is sizzling, stormy, loving, everlasting and completely gripping.
"All the words that men use about women—enchanted, charmed, addicted—they don’t even begin to cover what I felt for you and your handful of shattered glass. I thought about you that night, and the next and the next, and when I was deployed to Carpathia, you were all I thought about. I built these fantasies in my mind where I would come home after the war and find you at whatever university you were at. I would kiss you until you were like you were that night at the party, begging me to do whatever I wanted.”
Oh Ash, you sweet-talker you! This is a story of three intertwined lives and their rise to the top of American politics. Since 'Priest' by Sierra Simone is one of my favorite erotica books, I knew that I would love this one. I just wasn't prepared for the level of hotness and (slight) depravity! And I mean that in the nicest way.
I rarely have time to read a series back to back but I did just that with 'American Queen' and 'American Prince.' The books are just that good!! There are villains and back-stabbers and war and bravery and lots and lots of sex. And I mean TONS. And a good, not-so-old-fashioned love story.
"I fell in love with Ash, only to watch him marry another woman. I slept with a different man, only to never hear from him again."
Ash and Embry are war heroes who are now the President and Vice-President of United States, respectively. Their love for each other and for Greer unfolds through alternating points of view and flashbacks between the past and the present. This is a very clever tale filled with references to the story of King Arthur and Camelot but also THE hottest and most passionate love scenes I've ever read. Ash, Embry and Greer are all perfect for each other but will they find some kind of happily ever after? I loved the conclusion to this book and I can say that the next one was just as enticing. If you are looking for something spicy and intelligent and gripping, then you will absolutely adore 'American Queen'!

I’ve taken conference calls with another man's wife sucking me off under my desk. You think I’m ashamed of my c--k? That I'm ashamed of wanting to f-ck? Nothing's further from the truth".
Sierra Simone writes some of THE best erotica and contemporary romance and so I was thrilled to read a copy of 'Sinner'! Especially since I was OBSESSED with 'Priest.' This book is a standalone in the series and is the story of Sean Bell, who was totally devastated by the suicide of his sister. He completely turned away from religion and turned toward more earthly pleasures.
Zenny is the younger sister of Sean's best friend. So of course she's totally off-limits. Plus she is a devout Catholic, and is planning to soon enter a religious order. She is very young (21), still in college and very inexperienced. She wants one month with Sean before she takes her religious vows.
Sean does not fully appreciate Zenny's passion for her religion, but he does see her goodness and her devotion. Zenny is steadfast in her path but will she continue with her plans once she has had a taste of Mr. Sean Bell? Their scenes together are SMOKING hot and Sean is quite simply irresistible. I liked that Zenny was smart and mature for her age and incredibly single-minded, and Sean quickly falls for the stunning Zenobia:
“God, the f-cking irony of a sinner loving a nun.”
SO, what started off as a very promising story seemed a little rushed to me and I never quite felt the connection between the two main characters. I give major kudos to the author for writing a PoC heroine but some of the references and the descriptions just didn't make a whole lot of sense to me. Many details just didn’t fit, and they simply took me out of the story. If you are able to overlook these inconsistencies, then you’ll enjoy this book.
Lots of readers adored this one, so please read other reviews and see if ‘Sinner’ might be for you! My review is just one opinion and there are plenty of great reviews for this book. Sierra Simone continues to be one of my favorites (I devoured her ‘American King’ trilogy) and I will continue to 1-click her books in the future. ...more
