my first book in a really long while which I finished in 1 day. The Queen of Nothing was the perfect ending to The Folk of The Air series. I liked everything about it. about The Wicked King I said that it didn’t quite provide me with the emotional resolvement that I’m used to when reading books like this. The Queen of Nothing tho… it delivered HARD. romance, schemes, characters, emotional depth, etc. I’ve become such a simp by the end… a truly amazing trilogy....more

this was… insanely beautiful. even if a little slow paced, it did its job perfectly, and I wouldn’t change anything about it. the pages of The Murmur of Bees are full of stunning prose, brotherly love, found family, grief and sorrow but also terrific life moments. Simonopio and his bees will forever live in my heart. an insanely big recommendation for all those reading my silly little reviews to try and give The Murmur of Bees a chance.

Tolkien cooked up something absolutely incredibly marvelous. I just can't believe the saddness I'm feeling right now because of a book that has painfully familiar tropes. now it's ended, and I have a gaping hole in my chest. what can live up to it?
I cried like 15 times throughout listening to The Return of the King, give or take. it was an epic, and sad, and triumphant, and cozy read all in one book. I've never read the full trilogy before - I think I had stopped mid-The Two Towers probably about 10 years ago. the final book perfectly tied everything together. I'm a die hard LOTR fan from now on. see me getting a tattoo of the fellowship in a month or two....more
