I even started to...skim it :O I remember loving it so, so much the first time around and now...damn it! I knew when I started the damn re-read I wouldn't like it. Just the way Meghan acted...just no. I still love Ash though. At least that's something... And there you have it: so much can change over the years. What I once loved, I don't love anymore :( Second rate: 2.5 *I'm shocked* stars. [image] The Iron King by Julie Kagawa (The Iron Fey #1) This book was incredible! The story was fantastic, and you just want more. Julie Kagawa is a great author, and her series are definitely worth reading. If you don't, your seriously missing out on awesome journeys only Julie can put you through. 'The Iron King' has it all! Love, passion, friendship, family love, hate, action, tears, heartbreak.. everything! You don't really get bored at all! The book has the perfect characters that you cannot help but love. Meghan gets her life turned upside down in a short time, and becomes a character/girl you would look up to.
“You made me feel alive again.”
Ash, prince of the winter fae, is a fighter.. a real warrior who you realize after reading a little bit about, that he's destined to fight. He knows he's moves, and it fantastic with his sword. Ash is arrogant, confident and great good looking, and he knows it! Puck is quiet funny, and a really loyal friend. He knows how to make someone feel better and has a fantastic humor. I did have many laughs when it came to Puck. Meghan, Ash and Puck was a great team. This book is one of my favorite books and i loved every moment of it. Rate: 5 stars....more
