The narrative going back and forth between "unknown" and the main characters is also a big plus.
I felt so bad for my boy Colin. He had his sights set first and didn't get his alone time Ash. The work he put in to break down her walls was so sweet. You never know feeling of the daily banter and how much that can lift a person's spirit when they are in a bad way until you've been there.
Now I'm off to read book 2 because I have to find out how all this plays out!...more
