Baby Author Alert! I took a chance on this one because I was totally in the mood for some space romance when I saw the ARC opportunity come up and I like to support newbie authors. There's a lot of potential here in this series and where it could go. Then again, I have no idea how the author is going to get these MCs out of the hole they have found themselves in by the end. But that's why I am the reader and they are the author. I just get to enjoy the ride, while they figure out the destination.
The one thing that kinda bummed me out was the single POV cuz honestly Elliot was super interesting and I wanted in his head more than Niko. I didn't realize it wasn't dual POV until I started reading it, which is something I usually check first. That does not mean I didn't enjoy it, just that I have a personal preference. AKA I am super nosey and wanted to know what was running through Eliot's mind during so many moments, especially the steamy bits.
The jury is still out on how I feel about Niko's brother Zann. I really hope for Niko's sake that his brother is on the up and up and really is a good person because if not, well things are about the get even worse for our couple in book 2. I can't imagine if the Galapol got their hands on either one of them at this point that they wouldn't be made to disappear rather quickly. There are still 2 books left in this trilogy and a horrendous political secret still hidden. Fingers crossed they all get what they deserve by the end!...more
I absolutely, positively fucking loved this book!!! It also seemed fitting to start my review with a Spaceballs reference f"Ludicrous Speed - GO!"
I absolutely, positively fucking loved this book!!! It also seemed fitting to start my review with a Spaceballs reference from the book because of the dedication. To which I reply HELL YA! Smoke em if you got em!! This book was a WILD ride my friends. Not only was it chock full of kinky alien spicy times as Micah thoroughly enjoyed all of Ziggy's skin suits, but there were lots of other entertaining things going on plot wise too.
I loved every time Ziggy would show a hint of vulnerability with Micah. He really was a Space Daddy babygirl and I wanted to cuddle him to death as much as Micah did. Micah was smart AF. Boy was playing the long game and he played it well. His powers were also super impressive. His family are IDIOTS for ignoring all that man could do. Ziggy was not an idiot on that front and he made sure Micah knew how special he thought he was which was totally sweet.
What these two were both idiots about was how the other felt about them. I mean it doesn't get more possessive than telling someone you want to live inside them, yet neither of them admitted they knew the other was their mate in order not to scare them away. I wanted to slap them more than once, but I also loved all the dirty AF sex talk entwined with the possessive vibes. It seemed for much of the book, the bedroom was the one place these two could be honest with one another. Tendril Touchy time for the win!!
I am super pumped that this is going to be a continuing series following Micah and Ziggy as they travel the galaxies. This book was just such a fun time, and quite violent to be honest, but mostly fun. I could read about them all day and look forward to their next crazy adventure!...more
"The universe had handed me happiness in his blue eyes. And still I had managed to make the wrong choice at every turn."
This is my first book by t"The universe had handed me happiness in his blue eyes. And still I had managed to make the wrong choice at every turn."
This is my first book by this author and I totally loved it. I'm a big fan of the whole alien/human captive trope, especially when there is a language barrier. I don't know what it is, but I just always enjoy that part. The human being terrified this big hulking alien is going to eat them or something when in reality the alien is trying to calm them or reassure them.
Clay was kind of a hot mess of a human. I mean, I couldn't really blame him since he was being held captive by an alien species he had no idea bout, but he made quite a lot of dumb choices during this time. Arcay told him numerous times that leaving his rooms while "unclaimed" was dangerous, yet Clay did it, time and time again with terrible results.
I really loved Arcay. Yes he was kind of an ahole alpha at first, but that was what his culture taught him to be. Omegas were theirs to take and care for, that was just how things were done. Yes it is kind of barbaric, but Clay never really took into account that he was being dumped in a completely different culture. He just assumed that his alien should follow the rules of Earth. Thankfully Arcay ended up being the sweetest freaking alien ever and listened to his omega about his concerns. I think that was definitely the turning point in their relationship.
I'm excited that this book is the start of a series. I have to wonder if Clay's bestie may somehow return to check on his friend because the way those two parted was pretty emotional. You could tell he was not only worried, but terrified for Clay. I don't know if it really is possible since Clay appeared to be the only omega on board the ship of humans, but I wouldn't say no to him getting an alien man of his own....more

Yes!!"From the very moment we'd met in that forest, when my eyes had landed on his, part of me, deep, deep down, had known he was my person. My home."
Yes!! Hot alien alpha male who melts for his human. I totally dug this whole book! Poor Rueben. He's not been having an easy time in his life. After he finally fights his way out of the darkness he's been lost in and is working towards bettering himself/making amends for his past wrongs, the guy ends up abducted by aliens. Unfortunately, these are not the nice kind of aliens. These are aliens who treat humans like goods to be sold. Like they are beneath them and not worth the same respect as other alien species. Not a great place to be.
On the semi-bright side, it just so happens Reuben's poor life choices are one of the major reasons he ends up on planet U'suhk - where his alien hunk Vo'ak resides. They are primitive species in that they live off the land and are separated into tribes. Indoor plumbing doesn't even exist. You can imagine how jarring it would be for a skinny little human like Reuben to end up in a place like this.
Oh! And did I mention the reason for his purchase was to mate with their king? Yeah, I'd be a basket case myself. I don't know how Reuben held it together as well as he did. The language barrier certainly didn't help. It was actually really cute watching Vo'ak and Reuben trying to get to know one another while not having a firm grasp of each other's language, or in Reuben's case no grasp at all. I will say these two had definite chemistry between the sheets! No problems there my friend. It was the emotional aspect of their relationship that needed the most work.
I adored Vo'ak. He really did try his best to understand how to care for his hoo-man. But Reuben was stubborn, and after how many times he's been burned in the past, it was hard to build trust with an alien he was essentially forced to marry upon meeting. It took a lot of work, but I'm confident by the end that Rueben was just as much in love with Vo'ak as he was with him.
Now I must mention how excited I am that this series is going to continue. There was a bit of a tease at the end about one of the humans Rueben had met finding his mate with an alien visitor. Now this is just a guess, but I'm totally hoping his alluded mate was Fiddich. You will absolutely understand once you meet him. That alien dude deserves to be brought down a peg and nothing would aggravate him more than being the mate of a human. Not so good for the human, but I have faith Hawk could turn the tale. I guess we'll see!...more

Owen and Py were just too sweet together. I loved how protective Py became of him human. And Owen, finally finding someone who cherished him was just lovely to see. After growing up with a father like his, who treated him terribly because he wasn't some outdated definition of a "man's man," I was so happy he ended up with someone like Py.
This is not to say that Owen is some fragile flower either. He definitely has some feistiness in him, which he more than proved at a certain pairs nuptials. Ho boy these aliens do know how to throw a party!
There's a sneak peek of the next book at the end, but no mention of the human MC. The blurb isn't out for that book either, but I'm definitely excited to find out who's next! ...more

This was ADORABLE. A.M Rose offered this book with the caveat to not expect anything serious as it was pure holiday crack and OMG were they spot on. I just read a rash of angsty books so getting my hands on this one was pure delight. The alien Vix was absolutely precious. I loved how enamored he was with everything he was experiencing on Earth. He was like a child in his naivete. And his unintentional burns to Travis's ex had me laughing my ass off!
Poor Travis had no idea what he was getting himself into when he asked Vix to be his pretend boyfriend on his work retreat. What ensued was totally bananas and I truly loved every moment of it. This is very much an insta-love Christmasy story. There is minimal steam, and I can't believe I'm saying this, but I honestly did not miss it because I was too busy laughing at all the absurd things going on. I especially loved how Vix communicates with his hair. I wish I could tell people to essentially fuck off just by my hairstyle alone. Wouldn't that just be grand?
If you're a fan of aliens and are looking for an OTT holiday story then I suggest you to check out this cute AF romance by AM Rose. I dare you not to laugh....more

Holy shit. That was a wild fucking ride"We were twin supes in a throuple relationship with a skinsuit-wearing alien our family had sent us to spy on."
Holy shit. That was a wild fucking ride!! I knew going in it was going to be crazy, but I loved every second of it! Theo was absolutely insane and the man, well alien, gave absolutely zero fucks whatsoever about it. It made me immensely happy when things started heating up with the twins and Theo began to realize he may have made a critical error in thinking he was top dog. And when the feels started creeping in? OMG SWOOOOOOON!
"Because they were mine, and no one was going to take them away from me.
My twin stars
My stellar collisions."
Dre and Gabe were pretty much a mystery before starting this book so it was fun to get to know them as well. We've had some glimpses of them in past books, but nothing that really gave us a clue as to who they were as individuals. Their twin bond is incredibly close. These two are the definition of co-dependent and they definitely skirt the line of "how close is too close," but I gobbled up every steamy and delicious bite that was fed to us. And there were plenty in case you are wondering. I'm also seriously considering joining C. Rochelle's Patreon because that is how badly I want a peek at Theo's fanfic writing abilities - IYKYK!
Despite there being numerous spin-offs planned which, YES!!, this book ties up all the loose ends of the plot points that have been running concurrent throughout the series. Some of the revelations actually had me yelling O-M-G out loud while reading. So many puzzle pieces slotted into place in my brain. I've had such a blast reading this series! Enter the Multiverse, while heavy on the cray, was also heavy on the fun and I look forward to reading more of this universe in the future!...more
Loved catching up with Alex and Saar. It was cool to see the entire Devin and Eisa debacle from a different perspective. It seems Alex needed Devin's Loved catching up with Alex and Saar. It was cool to see the entire Devin and Eisa debacle from a different perspective. It seems Alex needed Devin's friendship as much as Devin needed his when they met. I love how they're friends.
Unfortunately mating issues happen with humans and alien pairings, just like between married humans. Poor Alex. He just needed to feel his humaness wasn't being erased or ignored. And Saar couldn't understand how that wasn't a rejection of him. I thought it was so sweet that Saar goes to his parents for advice. He admires and respects their mating so much.
I also found it interesting that when mating problems occur, if they last too long, the council gets involved to help mediate the couples' issues. I'm waffling back and forth on my opinion on that from a human perspective. Would it be helpful when on the rare occasion there's a lasting fight between my husband and I that people we admire meet to calmly help with the matter? Or would I get even angrier that the fight lasted that long and blame my husband for us having to air out our business? I can't decide, but to be completely honest I'm leaning more toward the latter when it pertains to me.
I already have book 3 on my TBR and I'm excited to read what adventure the author has for us next. It's a human alpha and an alien omega pairing this time. I have a good idea that the aliens are not going to like a human alpha soiling one of their own precious omegas. Not one bit. It's gunna be good!...more

The Tentacular Tales is one of my favorite new series of 2022. I mean these books are just so much fun! Between the hilarious River and his antics, the lewd abbreviations, the outfits, all the side characters, the banter, and of course all the sexy tentacle goodness you can't help but laugh or swoon the entire book. I don't think I ever stopped having a smile on my face while reading. Its incredibly wacky and totally out there but I am diggin' everything about it.
Plot wise we have a bit of movement on the Extraterrestrials responsible for the illegal drug operation. Unfortunately, the Alliance may just be seeing the tip of the iceberg. On top of that, we have a mole. At first my money was on Aiden, but I get the feeling that's what we are supposed to think. I'd be kinda bummed if it was him to be honest because even though he appears to dislike River, I do so love their interactions together.
This book ends on a mini cliffy I'd call it. I'm left with so many questions and curiosities. What's involved in an Iyaran Sanctioning Ceremony? Is it possible for either of our beloved MCs to get knocked up!? Will Captain Starblade ever admit he wants Lord Vardox just as much as he wants him? How long is Benji going to be able to hold out before finally giving into Mal's charms? Same question except this time substitute Evan and Zion. And finally, I am salivating to know the real story of what happened between Wilder and Zamir. I need them all to have a book please and thanks. As River would say, GO TEAM A.N.A.L.!
