A new author to me, but one I will continue to read. The story of the haves and have-nots, football, and Texas, had me hooked from the first chapter. A bad decision exposes the talent that was not supposed to be known. From there the angst of High School, the struggles of life, and the divided town.

Damien is a veteran hockey player for the San Francisco Shockwaves, the team grump. His recent past gives him a little leeway for his behavior, but his life is about to change. The team has hired Trinity, a social media influencer. Is Damien beginning to open up and start living again? The chemistry between the two is there, but working together complicates things. I like how she is open and supportive of his past. I am also excited for the tease of the next book.

Blake is in Sin City for his brothers’ bachelor weekend. Raven is also in town for her best friend’s bachelorette weekend. The two meet and have one unforgettable night. No last names are shared, and she leaves in the middle of the night.
Six weeks later, things get complicated as the consequences of their night change their lives. She does not know who he is. Her new promotion takes her to San Francisco, where her brother is. A little sleuthing and fate, their paths cross again.
Blake is a quick afternoon read and a great addition to the series. I enjoyed the southern charm of Blake Watson.

This book will keep you on your toes, threats, and crisis after crisis. Erik is in his head; his feelings and emotions are waring with him. We are in deep, and I had a hard time putting the book down. Erik’s Redemption is book two in the trilogy, and you must read Erik’s Salvation first. I am ready for book three Erik’s Refuge.

In this story, Hannah begins writing to a soldier, it continues well into a decade of letters between the two. She has now gotten into a situation and needs to turn to Steele and use a phone number she never intended to use.
Steele is a former SEAL in his second career as a tattoo artist. He still has the protection gene and jumps when Hannah needs help.
I love the relationship these two have, from a deep friendship to more. I love what this group of men are becoming and recommend this book and the series.

This story was a refreshing change from what I have been reading recently. To be pulled in a member of the family. It is still a romance, but with a historical appeal, to find answers to generations’ past. To follow your dreams and see them change after achieving them, or to realize you have found a different path. To find love and new loves that help with new dreams. Leif and Noelle have a wonderful story that was hard to put down.
I have not read the previous books in the Quince Valley series, but that is a goal for the future.

Separately they are successful and as seniors at the top of their game. Together, they are a love story. Baby steps, we need the whole story, as this is their second chance. Prepare your heart, it is going to be tugged and tested, freshman year is when their story begins. Cammie opens the door with a project, but Benson grasps the opportunity with everything he has. I loved the support of found family, as both their parents are not role models!

I loved reading this book, escaping into the pages of Reed and Courtney’s story that was over way too quickly! Watching Reed fall and discovering the real Courtney. The layers revealed about both characters gave more incite to their personalities. Tenacity fuels their goals and protects their hearts. I expected plenty of twists and turns and got them. The action starts on page one and does not let up.
I loved this series, and while this book can stand alone, it is better if read in order.

Millie is our chemistry loving, nerd, who has a terrible history with men. But when these two meet, sparks fly. Both of our characters have not had role models for parents, yet together, they do what they need to with the support of their found families. Now living in separate countries with a baby on the way, I love how Luka finds a way to be with her; I wanted them to figure it all out so badly.
I am excited to read the next story and see who the next player is who falls.

There are many layers to each character, both are stubborn and flawed.
Can their worlds collide, with the city girl settling with a small town, but worldly cowboy? Someone wants Riona dead, and it is Raylan’s job to protect her. Will she give up any control to him?
After enjoying this book, I plan to go back and look at others in this series.

The blurb drew me in, but the story held me.
June is headed home to Heatstroke, TX, love the name, after her worst birthday party. Many things are the same: Heartstopper diner, many are not, her childhood bedroom. At least Cash is not her next door neighbor anymore.
Cash Taylor, former country superstar, is now a single dad and glue trying to hold his family together. Now, he needs a nanny for his daughter. He has purchased his childhood home.
I love the relationship that June builds with Alex, and how Cash treats June as his nanny. There are a few surprises, and I am anxious to read more from Heatstroke, TX.
