All of the characters felt shallow compared to the previous books, the cameos being straight up props. The ending was 1.75/5 SOOOOOOO DISAPPOINTING!!!!
All of the characters felt shallow compared to the previous books, the cameos being straight up props. The ending was rushed like crazy and boring. Veritas was a shell of her character with all the overexplaining her thought process like we, the readers, are dumb can't put two and two together. This would've been better as two books... there was a lot to explore and the usual template of 350ish pages isn't enough. Overall, it felt like a rush job to meet a deadline and it was incredibly disappointing....more
