I’m calling it— Brayden is my favourite MMC from the Evil Dead MC second generation! He went from someone who, I’m embarrassed to admit wasn’t even on my radar, to someone who ended up having my undivided attention.

Ooh-wee, is it hot in here, or what?! ♨ This book just about had me fanning my face, there was so much blush-inducing scenes. From the sexual tension, to the sexual banter, to the sexual encounters. It’s full steam ahead!
Right off the bat, I loved that the premise kept Harley’s love interest a total secret until you cracked open the book and discover it first-hand. Already, I was itching to find out who the lucky groom would be. And let me tell you… he SO does not disappoint.
What happens in Vegas… doesn’t always stay in Vegas! Ha. Love it.
It’s the fourth standalone in the Evil Dead MC second gen series, and it was such a fun romance. Although it’s set within an MC backdrop, it’s definitely a lot lighter than the OG series. If you’re not fussed with a little “third act” action and suspense, and an abrupt romance rollercoaster before the HEA either, then you’ll enjoy this romance read through and through.
Although it includes plenty of sexual content, the spice is fairly mid-level. It has a New-Adult to Adult Romance feel due to the youthful, playful atmosphere. It does however contain sensitive subject matters that may be triggering for some readers such as, violence, kidnapping, and death (off page). Intended for readers of age.
It’s not very plot-heavy. Totally character driven developments, mixed with a range of emotions from the MCs as they navigate through their new-found marital status. What it lacked in a weighty story, the cast of characters more than made up for. I adore the history amongst the brotherhood, and the friendships amongst the second gen characters felt genuine and relatable, especially between the ever-growing girl squad. But whether it’s biker banter, or a gab sesh between Harley and her friends, the characters injected tons of fun and humour into the book that I could never tire of.
If you’re an avid fan of James’ MC romances, specifically the Evil Dead MC series, I think you’ll easily spot much of the same writing inserted from those books in this new series— e.g. certain lines and romantic developments between the characters. To me, it’s almost become a signature of an MC book by James. It still evokes a smile and a swoon from me whenever I come across one.
It’s easy reading you can start and finish in one sitting. It left me happy-sighing in contentment for Harley, and slightly giddy knowing which couple will be up next in the series. *whispers* Eeep. I’m excited for it! ...more

Fun, flirty, and one helluva mood-boosting read! James needs to write more romance novellas because they are just as amazing as her full-length novels.
This story is set within her world of the Evil Dead MC, but it’s MC-light. I think it’s a nice change of pace getting to see one of the brothers’ lives outside of their motorcycle club being in the forefront.
If you like the fake-dating romance trope set in a holiday themed narrative, I highly recommend you give this one a read. It may be a novella, but it’s punchy. I love the vivid backdrop of New Orleans and getting to see through two difference pairs of eyes— from New Orleans native; Lobo and sightseer Hope. And who doesn’t enjoy a little holiday romance?
With the fast-pacing and constant developments, Lobo and Hope’s relationship technically evolved rather quickly, but with their close proximity and time spent getting to know one another, as you’re reading, it didn’t necessarily come across as abrupt.
The familial dynamics exhibited is your stereotypical hectic yet lively atmosphere whenever a gathering is in place. Whilst it has an overall light-hearted contemporary setting, I liked that there was still a little bit of suspense thrown in as well. Regardless of the holiday theme, it wouldn’t be one of James’ MC romances without bikers making an appearance, adding some brotherly banter and a wreaking little MC havoc. ...more

**ARC was generously provided in exchange for my honest review.**
YASSS! Billy is exactly what I was expecting from an Evil Dead MC spin-off. James has effortlessly incorporated the first generation with the next that I am giddy for the following books to come in this series!
This storyline had so many tropes and elements that I didn’t want to put it down. I was totally hooked! Melissa and Billy brought a ton of spark and a desperate longing for one another that elevated my eagerness in seeing their relationship take that ultimate romantic step faster.
There was a perfect mix of romance and suspenseful MC elements throughout. The coinciding plotlines of Billy and Melissa’s evolving relationship, and Billy’s commitment and loyalty to his club made it a weighty romance read. James included some emotional scenes that I hadn’t expected to tear-up reading this book, but I did. I SO DID.
*squeeeeee* If you’re a fan of the OG series; Evil Dead MC, then you know Billy and Melissa were a long time coming… and after reading their story, I can say with absolute surety that it’s well worth the wait. It almost felt like coming full circle with the Evil Dead MC characters not only making an appearance but playing pivotal roles in both Billy and Melissa’s lives.
From Cole to Crash, to Red Dog, Wolf, and Green. To their wives and even certain blasts from the pasts had me reeling. Complete lightbulb moments that totally elevated my already enjoyable reading experience. The world-building is beautifully done. James has taken the Evil Dead MC world and branched it out, introducing more of the outside world to their dangerous one. I like the contrast. Seeing Melissa outside of her upbringing and into a whole new setting added a nice change of scene.
Although it’s an MC romance, the level of darkness and grit are on the milder side. However, there are certain sensitive plot points that may be triggering for some readers. It deals with unwanted sexual advances, stalking, kidnapping, and includes violence. There are also minor backstories that broaches on health (specifically dealing with cancer), as well as infidelity. (Both life events occurred off-page).
It’s a relatively quick read yet well-paced storytelling. Billy and Melissa are truly likable leading characters. With their deep-rooted history, there was a real sense of genuineness to their evolving relationship from childhood friends to lovers. A little action and suspense. A little sizzle and spice. All good things, all good things.
This book also segues to the next one in line and I’m already counting down the days until I get to read it. I’m really enjoying seeing James intertwine her past MC books and characters, and even from another book series into this new series. There is an array of layers because of it, and it definitely has me wanting to reread those books. But if you’re new to James’ writing, the books in this series all read as standalone stories. You don’t have to have read Evil Dead MC prior to starting this one, but I do highly recommend it for extensive knowledge of relationships present and for an overall fuller reading experience.
All in all, I loved it. I’m still wrapping my head around Billy and Melissa all grown and falling in love, but their HEA was bliss to witness! The ups and downs, the secrecy, the unpredictability, along with the strong familial bonds and friendships that James is so good at incorporating into her books makes this one addictive, paging turning read!

**ARC was generously provided in exchange for my honest review.**
Glenn has written some of my all-time favourite gripping, swoon-worthy MC romance books. She surprised me with this sweeter MC romance storyline. It’s a bit of a contrast from her Kings of Korruption MC series where there was a lot more heaviness, grit, and suspense. Leather & Lace was a nice change of pace and had a more contemporary setting focusing on Jen’s world rather than Rage’s motorcycle club.
It’d be an amazing book for readers dipping their toes into MC romances. It gives insight into the hero’s dangerous world without delving too much into the details. It’s also quite light-hearted, sweet, and has a great romantic build-up between its main characters. Although Jen and Rage’s relationship technically developed fairly quickly and one I consider to be “instalove”, as you progress through the story you encounter some great moments of vulnerability and depth shared that you tend to forget the pair have only just met.
It’s steady-paced storytelling and told from dual POVs. It’s part of the Motorcycles, Mobsters & Mayhem author collaboration series but has been advised that it can be read as a standalone novel. In saying that, in my opinion, this story was left with an open-ended conclusion. There were plot points I wanted answers to and I would’ve loved an epilogue. I’m unsure if Glenn plans to continue Jen and Rage’s story in the future or if they make an appearance in her next book from this world, but I’d like to hold out hope that this won’t be the last time we see these two lovebirds.
One of the main things that stood out for me was how Glenn has written her characters, in particular, Rage. He’s probably one of the most sweetest, most caring bikers I’ve read (especially from Glenn’s MC romance books).
These characters are imperfect but it’s what makes them relatable and down-right likable! Both Jen and Rage have personal struggles and dilemma’s that their dealing with in their lives but they’ve become each other’s support system. It’s an overall uplifting storyline, with tons of positivity weaved throughout from the solid (and hilarious) friendships, to the encouraging book community Jen is a part of, and let’s not forget Rage’s band of brothers from his MC.
It’s a quirky storyline. If you ever wondered what it would be like when fiction meets real-life, then this one will be an entertaining treat for you. Jen is a romance author who specializes in writing MC romance books. She unexpectedly meets Rage, a real-life member of a motorcycle club. Vice President to boot, and when their two worlds clash, zingy interactions and constant sparks ignite.
I did find some parts a little repetitive at times trying to put emphasise into the trouble Jen has found herself in, but it’s still very much an enjoyable read. The secondary cast of characters are a fun addition. Jen and Rage are down to earth and have such genuine chemistry. There’s no drama and no angst in their relationship, which is refreshing. It’s an adult relationship that I easily got behind.
This book honestly left me smiling. Jen and Rage have a few hurdles to overcome but their story definitely left me rooting for their relationship to last a lifetime. I’m looking forward to reading Glenn’s next book in the MMM world!

If Maynard ever wants to write more stories on Bianca and Sandman, I’ll be one hundred percent for it! Following up on their introduction in Bewitching The Biker, this new holiday novella was not only full of spice and entertainingly quirky banter that I’ve come to associate with these two, but family, friendship, and brotherhood have been an unwavering source of support as they take the next step in their relationship.
A sweet and sassy Bianca and an overly protective, but highly adorable Sandman. These two will always be one of my favourite couples from Maynard’s RBMC chapter series. This book was short, punchy, and had me looking forward to seeing what else is in store for this series. It’s a fun little addition and a great holiday-themed MC romance.
Whilst Maynard doesn’t go into detail about the secondary characters from previous books, you’re still very much in the loop with the relationships and group dynamics. Although I thought there was choppiness alongside disjointed subplots in certain areas of the story, it’s the interactions between Bianca and Sandman that had me hooked and ultimately enjoying this book. Their romance had a mixture of raunchiness and sweetness, with a side of crazy dramatics that essentially made this a light-hearted, smile-inducing read!
It may be a novella but Bianca and Sandman go through significant developments in their relationship. All in all, a great mixture of romance and MC elements, with a huge cast of characters making an appearance. It’s definitely not to be missed if you’re following this series. Just note it contains profanity, violence, and sexual content intended for readers 18+ only.

Loved me some Rock! ❤ The second I started this book, it was unputdownable. It did not disappoint. With an addictive storyline and gripping characters, it had a great balance of both MC and romance elements all throughout.
This is the third book in James’ RBMC Durango, CO series, and whilst all the books can be read as standalone novels, I still recommend that you read them in publishing order purely for the fact that the first two books helps build-up the anticipation of Rock’s story and of the lucky heroine who wins him over.
After having already read about twenty or so books by James, I pretty much know what I can expect when going into a new one. What I quickly discovered is that James writes older heroes and age-gap MC romance stories so damn well! There’s a genuine feel to her characters’ coupling. I loved the fact that the big age difference between Rock and Evelyn wasn’t even that much of a factor in the grand scheme of things in their relationship. There’s such a strong connection between them that you tend to forget there’s even a gap. It’s one of the reasons as to why I’ve loved (and continue to love) reading James’ books that include this romance trope.
Keeping The Throne has a commanding yet gentlemanly hero in Rock who’s had a well-lived life. There’s always going to be some concern going into a romance story where a leading character has lost their first love and wondering how the author will develop her character through a tragic past. I can tell you this book is emotional at times to the point where I really felt for Rock. I thought his story was emotionally complex but just as equally whole-hearted and sweet.
Evelyn, at times needed a slight attitude adjustment in my opinion but overall she’s a likable heroine who fitted well with the existing cast of characters and couples within their inner circle. What I liked about her most was the fact that she wasn’t trying to replace or forcefully fill the void in Rock’s life after the death of his wife, but understood his apprehension, was a positive impact, and in the end naturally filled that emptiness in him. Their story, and Rock’s more so was beautifully executed. There was a sense of respect, love, and loyalty when it came to Rock letting go, and as saddening as it was to witness, I’m glad there was a distinct closure to that chapter of his life.
This MC romance story was well-paced, told from multiple POVs, and as it progresses there’s a gradual build-up of suspense not only with Rock’s evolving relationship with Evelyn but within his club too. You’ll get your fill of steamy romance, a strong bond of brotherhood, and solid familial dynamics that all add to the overall enjoyment of reading this book. Besides the age-gap trope, Rock and Evelyn’s relationship can technically fall under the “instalove” umbrella as their relationship evolved pretty quickly, but just like what I found with their age-difference, their unplanned romantic interactions still had fairly organic development to it.
I found the overall atmosphere relatively on a light side, but it does contain gritty elements, some of which may be triggering for some readers such as, strong violence, domestic abuse, and kidnapping. Along with strong sexual content this book is intended for readers 18+ only.
But as with all of James’ other books, she knows when to add a little unsuspecting comic-relief to keep the overall vibe from going too sombre for too long, and she did just that with this one by adding giggle-inducing banter.
All in all, it’s another addictive as hell addition to the series, and in general another must-read book by James that I highly recommend! It’s an MC romance story that I can (and will) read again and again. Knowing that Rock gets his second chance at love will leave its readers in happy contentment, but at the same time with his backstory and having to let it all go leaves a bittersweet tinge too.
If you like any of the following romance tropes set within an MC romance world, then add this one to your TBR!
- Age-Gap Romance - Instant Attraction - Hate-to-Love - Forced/ Close Proximity - Second Chance Romance

Ugh. Anyone else who has had their heart crushed from reading Alexa and Murder’s story up to this point will be in agreement that this book was one big, happy sigh! What started out as a long, tedious, hell of a journey of a secret love and roads not taken finally receives a well-deserved HEA!
This is a novella, and whilst I would’ve loved a longer story, it still gave me so much feels! An adorable and lighthearted (for the most part, anyways) conclusion to what was initially a rollercoaster ride of a relationship between Murder and Lex! After reading it, I can honestly say that I am relieved that the angsty drama in their lives is officially done and dusted, and now they have the rest of their lives to look forward to. Nothing but good times ahead!
Trust me when I say once you reach Keeping The Biker, you will be giddy with happiness at seeing Alexa and Murder truly be together. This is the fifth book in the series and I am just as hooked in the Houston Defiance MC as I was when I read the first book. Texas’ and Fin’s relationship was a gradual build-up long before their story was told in Protective.

This is a great collection of short stories about spitfire biker babes of the Royal Harlots MC!
They’re relatively short but punchy reads with catchy storylines. I did feel that a lot of the novellas had characters that you wouldn’t be familiar with unless you’ve read the author’s other MC books. So I do recommend reading those first before delving into this anthology just so you have a better understanding of who the characters are that make an appearance and how they’re connected with the heroine. Brief summaries are provided but some needed more detail that I feel will only be provided if you read those books.
If you like your MC romance with an enemies-to-lovers, hate-to-love, and/or insta-love romance tropes, then I think this is an amazing anthology to add to your TBR. Some are a little more suspenseful and dark-ish than others, but it’s also fun, flirty and there’s tons of saucy scenes in each story.
