Book: idk how to rate this
Well idk what the fuck I just read. It started as a car accident does with a bang, and didn’t change from there. And like with any car accident you can’t look away, and that is what happened.
Idk if I will continue the story but it was entertaining but also boring? Haha idk what to feel about this one. Felt a little juvenile, and while it has been compared to Alice Winters OTT humor… I don’t see it.
Overall an interesting read and not much else to say without spoiling it.

It was a good addition, and I liked to see Sebastian on his own mission, and to see these after the epilogue. Also ended like it was going to continue into another book... so kinda a cliffhanger hah...more

I am loving each additional brotherhood book! I was a little nervous at first with this book because there was some lack of communication between Dev and Tully, but luckily it didn't go on for too long... haha Dev did some hot and cold moments which did get old, but I am really excited about Zane's book, with his bodyguard Ryan!!! I love me a rockstar x bodyguard romance haha.
I loved seeing Dev fall in love with his daughter, it was precious to see.
Each book gets me more excited for the next one, so I can't wait for December to come around for Zane's book!...more

A good, short (less than 100 pages), story that had me wondering how Nameless was going to pull off his assignment. I think since this was so short, I don't feel right giving it more than 3 stars. I can see the potential for the series and might pick up the next book!
I do think that this was a writing style that I need to get used to, it was not normally one that I gel with since it is a lot of telling, not too much showing, but towards the end of the book I started to like it.
I am trying to find more horror/psychological thriller/thriller books, so I was hoping to be a little more scared, but overall, it was a decent dark story.

While there were parts I enjoyed, for the most part it was bland... idk I must have higher expectations than I think for books, because I just wasn't feeling it, but I wanted to finish a book so I pushed through...
I think I have tried one other Reese Knightly book and had the same issues, of everything being surface level, and the way it was written was choppy.. I couldn't feel the romantic connection between Harrison and Ryder... It was very rushed..
I also called it for who the stalker was.
Overall I don't think this author is for me, but I am happy to see other people enjoyed this book!...more

I get where there are some discrepancies with the stories, but I think since I didn't read these back to back, I didn't notice those errors as much.
I loved Ayla and how her interactions with Kyle and Ian were. I do wish there were less flashbacks, but overall this was a great addition to the "Men of Fairlake" series.
I would recommend not reading them back to back because there are some storyline/character errors that you will pick up more than if you read these randomly haha. ...more

I definitely smiled in this book and laughed out loud. I think that at the beginning I was a little annoyed at Chris for how oblivious (? not sure if that would be the right word) he was. But I am glad Reed was just as exasperated as me haha!
This has all the small-town vibes that May Archer is good at, and makes you wish you also lived there! haha
I think towards the middle of the book when they make it to Copper County that is when I really started to get into the book!
I will say you don't have to read the prequel, or even the other series. I didn't do a reread/relisten, I kinda jumped in blind and I had an easy time following along. I am looking forward to the next book in this series, which I think if you preorder the bundle off May Archer's website you can get it early November, if I read that right haha!
Either way, if you want a laugh, and a book that will make you smile, look no further than this one! ...more

I did enjoy reading about Danny and Hank, but Danny hid behind MK for a little too long, and he didn't really discuss with his closest friends that he was bi.. idk it just felt like something was missing but I still loved these two together haha

A short and sweet novella to prepare us for the new series! I do think if I read the O'Leary series, that I could have enjoyed this more? But you don't need to read that series, to read this book. Maybe before the 1st book of the "Copper County" series comes out I will do a read of the O'Leary series and a reread of the Sunday brother series, but idk, I won't put too much pressure on doing that.
About the book though, I liked Theo more than Bennett, at the beginning Bennett wasn't doing himself any favors in how he was being a "creeper" lol. But I loved the puzzles and drawing passed between them, that was adorable.

Idk what these books are laced with, but it is addictive for me that is for sure. Knowing that these aren't the best books ever written, they are still packed with a lot that is going on in this small town.
I was hoping that we had some more backstory with Trevor, but unfortunately, we got just a little.
