When Vince comes back to his hometown a completely made over, hyper-masculine version of his former self, the last person he expects to recognize him and be happy to see him is his childhood crush, tormentor, Tack.
Tack cannot believe he has a chance at redemption, at being with the boy he let be bullied, but definitely had feelings for, still has feelings for. But Vince may have an agenda Tack is unaware of, and that agenda may be the biggest obstacle standing in their way.
I wanted to love this, I really did. The blurb really got me, and the cover conveys a sweet sensibility that admittedly, Tack has. Unfortunately, there's a big, big reason why I couldn't love this, and that's Vince. He's completely unlikable. Yes, he was the one bullied when he was younger, and Tack certainly should have, and did, make amends for that. But...in the present, Vince had transformed himself into an ass who treated Tack horribly, even when it became obvious Tack had changed. Sorry, but Vince was so unlikable that I couldn't bring myself to rate this one higher, no matter how much I like Tack and his child, Jules.

Shane thought he and his skydiving instructor might have been having a moment, but nope, as evidenced when Shane shows up on Brandt's doorstep with Brandt's baby, the baby he had with Shane's sister. Yeah... When Shane's sister took off for God only knows where and left her baby with Shane with a note about who her father was, Shane knew he had to find Brandt and inform him of his new parental status. He had no idea that sticking around while they worked things out would mean their inconvenient attraction would be too much to resist giving into. But what does it all mean when Shane has to go fight for his country career and Brandt is left behind with only his own smokejumping career? Can two men with schedules like that make a thing go?
I gotta say that the very premise of this story rubbed me the wrong way right from the start. The fact that Brandt opted for a night with Shane's sister the first night they met, and knocked her up was just icky to me. Now Shane will always have a reminder that he's got his sister's sloppy seconds. Just no.
The two leads themselves were OK, and I like the idea of two men and a baby, but I guess I just didn't like the way they met and could not get past it enough to really enjoy the story. It's well written, though, and the steam is definitely Kindle melting, so 3 stars seems fair.

House of Cards is a beautiful, slightly melancholy story. Calum's running after being betrayed by his "boyfriend". I say boyfriend with quotes becauseHouse of Cards is a beautiful, slightly melancholy story. Calum's running after being betrayed by his "boyfriend". I say boyfriend with quotes because he wasn't a real boyfriend, he was an abusive loser and Calum deserved so much better.
He ends up in the small village of Porthkennack and runs into an old friend, Brix. Brix is one of those kinds of guys who takes care of everyone and everything around him. And Calum will be no different. As they move back into their friendship, I was aching for both of them, knowing they each held pain in their hearts. But watching their love bloom was a beautiful thing. Brix's secret holds the power to break their relationship, though and he's not so sure he wants to test their fledgling relationship with it. Can Calum and Brix make a relationship work once Brix's secret comes to light?
Though this is the first book by Garrett Leigh I've read, it most certainly will not be the last. I found House of Cards to be one of those books that sticks with you. Calum and Brix are both beautifully real characters, and their story is one I won't soon forget.

LanPermanent Ink is a hot romance with mild daddy kink. Jericho is a 40 year old man who owns his own tattoo shop and has a best friend named Landon. Landon's son, Poe, is arrested again and Landon's had it. Had it with bailing him out, paying his legal fees, had it period. As he's complaining to Jericho about him, Jericho comes up with the idea to have Poe come in and work as his front counter person until he can replace him with someone permanent. Jericho had no idea his brilliant idea would end up with him meeting the young man who'd end up becoming so important to him.
[image][image]
Of course Jericho already knew Poe, but only in an acquaintance type way, so his attraction to the sullen kid comes as a surprise to him. He doesn't realize that Poe is not only bi, but has a daddy & mommy fetish. He only sleeps with older men and women who use him and order him around in bed, and he likes it that way. He's never been interested in an actual relationship with anyone, until he starts realizing just how amazing Jericho is, and not just because he's a silver fox with tattoos. But, can Jericho and Poe possibly make a relationship work when Landon is Jericho's best friend? And when Poe insists on not only continuing to do his graffiti, but also to hang out with his obnoxious best friend, Blue, who ends up being the biggest punk in the entire story?
[image][image]
I like Permanent Ink despite its daddy kink. I am most definitely not into daddy play, but it's pretty mild here. I do like dominating men, though, and Jericho is definitely dominant in the bedroom. He's not controlling in any other way, but he is dominant, and Poe loves it because he's definitely a sub. Permanent Ink is sexy, but not overly so, and the relationship between Poe and Jericho is an interesting one. I like that Poe does quite a bit of character growth, going from sullen brat to maturing man with a stability he didn't have before. Jericho is a really good influence on Poe, and it's for this reason that Landon can accept their relationship. Speaking of Landon, I think he may be my favorite character in Permanent Ink. I'd love to read his story.
So if you have any interest in older man/younger man romance, mild daddy kink, or just MM in general, make sure to put Permanent Ink on your TBR list. You will not regret it.

AndThis series just keeps getting better. I liked Risky Behavior and Suspicious Behavior, but Reckless Behavior has surpassed them both.
[image][image]
Andreas and Darren are healing from the events of Suspicious Behavior, and now it's time for Andreas to come clean to his adult kids about some stuff, and to spend more time with all of his kids. To that end, they're all at dinner, when three of his children are kidnapped. Yeesh, can these men not catch a break and enjoy some down time, ever?!?! L.A. Witt and Cari Z. said they were going to be even more mean to our men this time around, and they weren't kidding, because this installment is just one big clusterfuck. So much happens, and the men are having to try to get the kids back, deal with Andreas' now more messed up ankle, AND Darren's own family crisis, which is probably the most heartbreaking part of Reckless Behavior.
[image][image]
But through it all, they rely on each other and fall even deeper in love so that by the end, when they finally get to spend some quality time together, they realize just how much of a solid union they have.
When the whole world was on fire, we leaned on each other and got each other through it. When everything was boring and nothing was happening, we stayed close just because we wanted to. It was perfect.
I cannot wait for Romantic Behavior, which promises to be completely centered on our men and their happily ever after. Yes!!

Jake and Andy have been best friends for years. They've just graduated from NYU when Andy comes up with one of his brilliant (not so much) dares to hold lit fireworks in the palms of their hands to freak out their friends at the celebratory party they're attending. Of course the dare goes wrong and the boys end up with first and second degree burns all over their hands. Which means 6-8 weeks of not using their bandaged hands, which means no immediately moving to California for Jake for his new tech job, and no immediately moving to Boston for Harvard Law School for Andy. When faced with 2 months at a summer cottage in Nantucket, the boys are restless and unable to get themselves off. When Andy comes up with another dare - get each other off using only their mouths (since they're not supposed to be using their hands for anything), how does poor Jake react? Poor Jake, who's bi and not out to Andy, and who has been in love with his best friend for years? At first he says hell no, but then caves like he ALWAYS caves to Andy's dares/stunts. And this is where it all went wrong. Because it never, ever goes right when one friend is in love with the other, he or she always, always gets his or her heart broken by the one without the feelings.
That's not to say that Andy doesn't love Jake, because he does, as a best friend. He's just unaware of Jake's more romantic feelings. AND, and it's a big and, Andy is one of the most oblivious, un self-aware people I have ever come across in fiction. I really felt for Jake because I could see the heartbreak coming a mile away. Thank God for Andy's very perceptive, surprisingly loving mother, because if Andy hadn't had her, I doubt Andy would have ever had his epiphany that was necessary for our two boys to get their shit together and sort things out.

If you love MM, friends-to-lovers, or just simply charming, sweet, and sexy romances with two adorable guys, put Five Dares on your TBR list today. It's a gem amongst some of the really bad romances I've had the displeasure of reading lately.

Benji, Josh, and Van each bring something different to their triad, each has different needs. Originally, Benji and Josh were in a committed, but open, relationship for three years. Its openness was only at Josh's insistence, not because they didn't love each other. Josh didn't think he was capable of fidelity because his whole family has cheated on their partners his entire life and it's left a significant impact on Josh. Benji wanted the relationship to be closed, and when Josh couldn't agree, they broke up. Along came Van into their lives, at the perfect time. He helped Josh and Benji get back together and to realize just how much they mean to each other.
But, something is missing in their relationship, even now that they're in a committed, closed relationship. Van is that missing piece, in his own unique, sexy way. I think what I love most about Hot Licks is that each man identifies himself as something different. Benji has come to the realization that he's asexual to a degree, Josh is bi and Van calls himself pan. I didn't know much of the degrees of sexuality other than gay, straight and bi, so Hot Licks gave me a really good education of the entire sexual spectrum. It's these differences that give the three men's relationship its depth, their connection is really strong, not just physically, but emotionally and mentally as well. Seeing Benji, Josh and Van make their way through their poly relationship is so interesting, unique in its emotional intensity, and of course, the sex is off the charts hot! If you like m/m and/or m/m/m you really should pick up Hot Licks, you will not regret it!

Jack and Dean are a married couple looking for a woman to share their bed and their lives with. The woman they want is one of their best friends, Paige. Paige is a divorced, 28 year old woman who is opening up a B&B on Hamlet Island, off the coast of Connecticut. Jack and Dean are the contractors she hires to renovate the fixer upper, and in the course of working on the inn, they become good friends.
Paige has been lusting after, fantasizing about, Jack and Dean since she met them, but she figures since they're a happily married couple, they have no interest in women, let alone herself. But, she couldn't be more wrong. They've been plotting ways to get her into their bed, but she hasn't picked up on the fact that they're not only bisexual, but that they want her specifically. Things finally come to a head (he he, see what I did there? ;) one night while there's a storm blowing over the island and the three come together in a hot & steamy encounter. Paige, though, as much as she loves being with Jack and Dean and is halfway in love with them already, has big problems in the form of her controlling, conservative, bigoted parents, who have loaned her money for her inn, and have the ability (and the will) to demand complete repayment if she doesn't conform to their wishes exactly. That means, no associating with a married gay couple, let alone sleeping with both of them. And then there's Stephanie, Jack and Dean's former lover, who has a big secret that has the ability to tear their relationship with Paige apart.
I like Paige, Jack and Dean together, and their connection is both electric and believable. I especially like Dean, he's a sweetheart and really takes Paige's feelings into consideration most of the time. Which is a contrast to Jack, who is pretty impulsive and thoughtless a lot of the time and ends up hurting Paige (and sometimes Dean) because he speaks without thinking first. I didn't like when the three had their breakup, even though I knew it was coming, because it seemed unnecessary and the guys were both thoughtless as to how it would affect Paige. Thankfully it was figured out without too much heartbreak and angst.
I wish there had been an epilogue, because I'd love to know what the three have in store for their relationship further down the line. Are they still together? Do they have kids? Have Paige's horrible parents and horrible ex husband left her alone? Have the busybody islanders stopped gossiping about Jack and Dean, and Paige? I want to know!

Will Curtis is a Senior Chief, an MA (Master at Arms), basically a security specialist or cop at the NAS Adams (naval base) when he meets a youn(ger) man, Lieutenant Brent Jameson, while on a domestic disturbance call. After the call, for some reason, Will cannot get Brent out of his mind, even though Brent is a) an officer and b) apparently straight. He knows it's ironic, and disturbing, that the first man to catch his eye since his breakup, is a straight officer, but he just cannot get him off his mind. So he heads out to Anchor Point's first and only gay bar in hopes of finding a hookup to wipe his mind of the younger man. Imagine his surprise when Brent walks through the doors of the High & Tight bar, looking sexy as hell and obviously looking to hookup. When they have their first hot and rough hookup in the bathroom, against the wall, it only serves to give both Brent and Will more fodder for their minds to ponder as they try, and fail, to keep their hands off each other in the coming weeks.
While I haven't loved every book in this series, I did enjoy this one. It's fairly low angst and both Will and Brent are likable, engaging characters. Their sexy times are suitably steamy and naughty, and Brent even does a nice amount of character growth as he's searching for his way through the dilemma their relationship presents - either one of them retires or quits, or they continue their relationship in secret and hope for the best. While I wasn't exactly surprised at Brent's decision, I was pleased, as it was really the only way for this to have gone that would allow them an HEA.
LA Witt's MM writing is always good for, at the very minimum, steamy man-on-man sex, and Rank & File is no exception. It, however, has the added bonus of having a nice plot and good execution. I'm definitely looking forward to the next installment of this series - Going Overboard.

Adam is a spoiled, cold, obnoxious asshole who's just found out, upon his father's passing, that he's not being handed complete ownership of his father's company as he had thought he would be. Instead, he's to own half, with his enemy, Nate, receiving the other half. Nate, the kind hippie (Adam's words, not mine) freak that Adam has always hated because Nate doesn't put up with Adam's bullshit. As Nate and Adam try to come up with some type of compromise, some kind of plan for the company that their board will accept, somehow the two fall into bed together. Discovering that Nate likes to wear brightly colored lace manties really turns Adam on and it surprises Adam to find he likes it, but he goes with it, boy does he go with it. Adam is bi, but closeted, and Nate is happy and out. What are two such diametrically opposed men to do about the situation they've found themselves in?
Well, in Adam's case, he wallows in his self-pity, he gets seriously anxious, enough that he is constantly on the verge of one of his frequent panic attacks, attacks Nate for having the nerve to be so sexy and so dominant in the bedroom, but yet, so sweet that Adam can't possibly handle it, and bails right after one of their rounds of mind blowing sex. That they ever manage to get back together is all because Adam has an awesome best friend, Valerie, who is the real star of this story, and because Nate has the patience of a saint.
I wanted to really like Lace-Covered Compromise, but I just couldn't. Adam was too much of a douchebag, there was too much nattering on in his own mind, Nate's POV was never presented, and the ending was less than satisfying. I do like Nate, Valerie, and the sexy times between Nate and Adam and the fact that Nate was the dominant one and that Adam finally listened to him when they were in the bedroom, but I didn't like anything else. I wanted more of Nate's thoughts, more of his backstory, and I also wouldn't have minded a lot more of Valerie and Adam's relationship. As Lace-Covered Compromise is written, though, I just didn't end up caring about it or about Adam, and since the story is all from Adam's POV, I couldn't rate it higher.

First, let me say that men in manties is not one of my favorite things. I can understand how others are into the idea, though, and thought the premise was interesting. Enemies to lovers is definitely one of my favorite things, though, and it's the whole reason I wanted to read Lace-Covered Compromise.

She moves in with him to their new house, which is a big step for her, and one that she kind of feels is a bit too soon, but it's what Justin wants and she wants him, so...
But, there are still lots of obstacles to be had in their path to happiness. She meets his dad and stepmom and horrible things happen during the visit that have the potential to break them apart permanently. Then once they get past that ordeal, there are problems with Justin's mom, stepdad and nephew and niece. Sheesh, Justin's family is a big source of dysfunction within Justin's life. Kendra deals with it all mostly steadily, she's come a long way since the first installment. Justin's still a workaholic, though, and that's the main discord in their happiness. If he can't prioritize Kendra and their relationship, can they survive it? Can they survive when they're rocked with a tragedy that neither ever saw coming? I won't spoil, so you'll have to read and find out.
I really like this conclusion. Justin and Kendra are steadier than ever, at least for most of this conclusion. Kendra's grown, A LOT, and Justin is still rock steady and supportive. Their sex life is still smokin' hot, and Kendra has really found her footing in a committed relationship with one guy, no other woman necessary anymore. Except, as some fun with Justin.
Now, onto James' story, I can't wait to read it because he really intrigued me while I was reading Justin and Kendra's story.

When hotshot attorney Reuben is finally convinced to take a vacation, he certainly wasn't expecting to get stuck with the hot pilot after their plane crashes. Nor was he expecting to somehow become involved in a fling with Toby, said pilot. But, it's most certainly a fling with an expiration date, because Reuben is going back to his real life after, and Toby isn't going anywhere but back home to care for his ailing father, and look after his sister. Neither expected catching feelings, but what can they do with those feelings? Not a whole hell of a lot according to Toby.
Unfortunately, Arctic Wild just did not work for me. It was really draggy in pace, and Toby's back and forth drove me nuts. When he demanded space, I wanted to shake him. And then there are the secondary characters - Toby's family of his father and his sister, and Reuben's ex and his daughter Amelia. Yuck. All of them are terrible characters, terrible people. Amelia kinda grew on me a little, once she decided she wanted to stay with Reuben, but for most of the story, she was a typical obnoxious teen. Sigh...really the only bright spot was Reuben, who was sweet and loving. I wish there had been a lot more heat between Reuben and Toby, it would have gone a long way to making me enjoy what was mostly a boring story with little to no heat and emotion.

I was surprised at just how much I ended up liking Operation Green Card.

Arkady Izmaylov needs to get out of Russia. He's gay and in Russia that's not an acceptable thing. When his sister, Natalya, who lives in the US, comes up with a plan to get him to the US, he knows he has to accept it if he wants to escape his depressing life in Russia. That's where Jason comes in. He agrees to marry Arkady so Arkady can obtain his green card. Jason needs the money so he can send his gifted daughter to a private school. When he meets Arkady, he's surprised that he actually develops an attraction and feelings for him. He had always thought of himself as straight before Arkady, but when he researches and realizes he's bi, he's very accepting of it, which, I have to admit, was a surprise to me considering that Jason is really stoic and gruff. I appreciated his acceptance of this part of his identity and that he had so little angst about it. I felt for him, too, as he had serious self-worth issues thanks to his worthless father. Thank God Arkady came around to help him heal a bit.
Honestly, the only part of Operation Green Card that I didn't wholeheartedly like was Arkady. His character just didn't do it for me. He was a bit dismissive and flippant with Jason, whom I adored. I guess the whole stoic thing really does it for me and that's why I loved Jason. Arkady's character, in contrast, just seemed a little bland and shallow for my tastes.
Still, I ended up liking Operation Green Room. It's super sweet, sexy, and Jason is my perfect kind of hero.

Grant's been in love with his best friend/roommie nearly the entire time they've been rooming together. But Darryn's straight, so Grant knows better than to let his feelings be known. Until the day he walks in on Darryn in bed with someone... a male someone...
Now things are all messed up between them - they're avoiding each other and Darryn's spending all his free time with his new boyfriend, a boyfriend Grant has serious doubts about. But when things happen between Darryn and that boyfriend, will Grant stand by him, be the friend he's always been?
I would characterize this piece of New Adult fiction as less a romance and more a study of how NOT to conduct a friendship. If Grant and Darryn had communicated with each other much earlier, they could have avoided all the pain, both physical and emotional, they both went through. I had my doubts they were even friends considering they didn't talk for most of the story, and definitely doubted them as a couple considering they didn't get together until about 95% into the story. Sigh...but then I remembered they were all of 19, a very young 19 at that, and it explained everything. I wanted more heat, A LOT more heat, much better communication, and for them to act more like friends. As it was written, though, I can't call them friends for most of it, but I do like that Grant was there for Darryn throughout all that he went through with his boyfriend. 3 stars is all I can give this unfortunately because I didn't particularly like Darryn, their chemistry is really weak, and the friendship bond isn't strong on both sides.

Olivia is on a friend sponsored birthday vacation in Italy at a beautiful vineyard when she stumbles upon two hot men, one named Lucas and one wearing a hat hiding his face, having hot, dirty, dominating sex. Olivia is jealous because she wants to inspire that kind of heat in a man and for him to take her like that, she wants to be dominated and used and for him to set her dormant desires on fire. A short time later her ex, the one who broke her heart two years earlier when he broke up with her, sees her at the vineyard (his family's vineyard) and proposes marriage on the spot, causing Olivia to choke on the grape she had just thrown into her mouth.
When Gio comes to her rescue and dislodges the grape stuck in her throat that's cutting off her oxygen, dread spreads through her heart. She's never gotten over the man who shredded her heart, and she regrets letting her friends convince her that this vacation where she's not to come home until she's had "legendary sex-delicious, salacious, rough and dirty, 'bang me against the wall and leave me bruised' sex." was a good idea. But, as Gio explains why he needs her to marry him (so he can take control of the vineyard and modernize it), she thinks perhaps she can do it, after all, she'll get something out of this fake marriage - her dream job, then she can be the one to leave Gio after he takes control of his vineyard.
Of course, that's not what happens, as the feelings Olivia has always had for Gio are still there, and Gio's own dark desires come out to play when he realizes just how naughty his new, fake, wife is, that she's not the sweet, innocent pastor's daughter he had thought she was while they were together two years earlier. When Gio realizes he can have both halves of his soul, Olivia and Luca, his best friend and lover, a hot scene plays out and Olivia gets more than she had ever bargained for when she set out on her 25th birthday vacation.
If you like MM, MMF, or even just dirty, dominating kind of sex, I highly suggest you check out Private Reserve. It may be short, and lacking a lot of backstory and things like deep feelings, but it's seriously hot and all three characters are likable and interesting, especially Luca.

Brian and Andrew have been best friends for most of their lives. They've been through it all together, the most recent being Andrew's cancer diagnosis a few years ago that sent him into depression. But now that he's been given the all clear from his doctor, he's realized how much he loves his best friend, how much he's IN LOVE with him. But Brian's reaction to Andrew's declaration? Let's just say it was not particularly positive. And it sets off a lot of back and forth, some angst, and Brian questioning himself for far, far too long. Now don't get me wrong, I understand that questioning one's sexuality cannot be easy, but Brian took it wayyyy too far and it took up too much time in the story for my tastes. It also made it hard for me to like Brian until right around the end, which is, of course, too far into the story for a character to have made himself likable.
Aside from Brian's negative qualities, though, I mostly enjoyed the rest of this story. Andrew is a sweetheart, and their circle of friends is a varied and realistic bunch. 3.5 stars rounded up seems fair.

Eli is a socially awkward, but working at it, kinda guy when the worst day of his past walks into his life.
Bryan and Eli's encounter years ago left its mark on both of them and Bryan has spent the years since always wondering about Eli. Now that he's seen him again, he wants to keep him in his life, and will take anything of himself that Eli will give him. But what will he do with all the decidedly more than friendly feelings he develops toward Eli when it's apparent all Eli wants, or can handle, is friendship?
I really liked this angst-less, drama-free, friends to lovers tale. The friendship that Bryan and Eli develop is sweet and slow burn and slowly details them falling in love. It's slow burn to be sure, but not too slow, and Bryan and Eli are so great together! If you're looking for something super hot, this is not the story for you, but if you are looking for a substantial, well thought out love story, then I highly recommend you 1-click today. Oh, and the secondary characters, especially Bryan's best friend, Mac, are awesome! I'd love a story about him.

2 years ago William had the hottest night of his life. Unfortunately for him, it happened to be with his best friend's son Colt. Even more unfortunate, he's moved back to Copper Lake to be there for his dad, and Colt is there recuperating from a serious injury. Now they're dancing around their feelings and the chemistry that has only gotten stronger in the past 2 years. But William knew what happened was a mistake, and has no plans of repeating that mistake and risking his friendship with Colt's father. He may have underestimated Colt and their feelings, though, because he's finding it nearly impossible to resist him.
Colt wants William. He's an adult, so he should be able to be with whoever he wants. And who he wants is his father's best friend. But William is determined to act as if the heat between them doesn't exist. Is determined to pretend that night never happened. All for the sake of his friendship with his father. Can he tempt William enough to give into what they both want?
Forbidden has never been so delicious as Colt and William. The tension, the angst as William wavered between avoiding Colt and giving into the feelings that were patently obvious, was so yummy, but I was really anxious, knowing that when their secret came out, it wouldn't be pretty. But the two deserved to be in love and happy, they just had to travel down the road of obstacles to get there. I am not normally an age gap fan, but these two didn't embody that trope as much as they did grumpy/sunshine and opposites attract, with excellent results. I adored this couple, and can't wait for more of the guys in Copper Lake to fall in love. Whit's story (Every Promise Broken) is up next, and I am impatiently waiting for it.

David has gotten himself into a pickle, lost his job and his home. So now he's lodging with Rory, a divorced single dad who's a postman in a small British village. David is much younger, in his 20s, and a refined, sweet guy. Rory's almost his opposite, in his 40s, shorter, gray haired and simple in tastes and mind. They find they actually like each other, but their romance is of the slow burn variety, VERY slow burn, but so worth it because it's so sweet.
As Rory comes to terms with his bisexuality and he and David fall in love, I was awwwing all over the place because I couldn't help it. They're both so sweet, to each other, and in general. And you add in Rory's adorable kids, and they are adorable, even the scary daughter, then you have a well rounded, sweet romance. I like it much better than Caught!, which is the only other book in this series that I've read. If you like your MM romances with lots of heart, lots of sweet, then Spun! is just the one for you.

Shane is a divorced man with 3 kids who's finally ready to date, or at least do something other than work and take care of his kids. When he meets a hot, older man on the set of the movie he's a grip for, he finally feels something. Imagine his surprise when he gets a message on his Grindr app from Aaron.
[image][image]
Aaron is older, in his 40s, a volunteer firefighter and owner of a garage. He loves animals and is a total sweetheart. But, he's commitment phobic. That's fine with Shane, at first, because all he wants is to have some fun. Until it's not fine with Aaron, until he realizes that Shane and his kids and the whole relationship thing is actually something he wants, wants badly. But, can he get Shane to want that too? With him? Or is Shane loving his single status too much, finally being able to let loose and have some fun?
[image][image]
I really liked Get a Grip. It's hot, it's sweet and both Shane and Aaron are great characters. I like that they're older and more experienced. And I love that Shane has a good relationship with his exes. As much fun as ex drama is, seeing a character with stable relationships with his exes is a breath of fresh air. And of course it's always fun watching a former player being brought to his knees by love the way that Aaron is.

I really liked Get a Grip. It's hot, it's sweet and both Shane and Aaron are great characters. I like that they're older and more experienced. And I love that Shane has a good relationship with his exes. As much fun as ex drama is, seeing a character with stable relationships with his exes is a breath of fresh air. And of course it's always fun watching a former player being brought to his knees by love the way that Aaron is.
I received an ARC through NetGalley for an honest review....more
